Awww that's fabulous!!! You must be buzzing!!  ;D ;D

Keep up the obvious great work!!  :)

Buzzing!? that aint the word lol.  I just hope that now we are taken seriously and get donations/funds that we so desperatly need.

I meant 'buzzing' as in really really happy!  :shy:

I know what you meant.  ;)  :briggin:

Thank you all for your lovely comments.

I just had another call about a cat, sadly i had to turn them down as we have no space left. But she got our number along with several others from a vets in Alfreton, and was advised to try us first because we are a good rescue and very caring. :o xx

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

I had a long conversation with a lady today who also rang last night to ask if i had room for a cat. I said yes and we continued to chat for quite some time. When she rang today she said she had rang a few more rescues and one was the Derby branch of the RSPCA. The lady told the rspca that she had spoken to http://www.the-kats-whiskers.co.uk about her cat and the lady at the rspca said to her. "your cat will be very much loved & taken very good care of and that she knew me personally" What a huge compliment to get from such a large rescue organisation.  I was quite dumb founded and asked the lady to repeat what she had just said. I had a huge lump in my throat. So we can officially say that we are a recognised rescue.  ;D

We were invited a short while ago to the RSPCA's Open day with our own stand to raise funds for our rescue. We only raised a total of £15 because it's a small shelter and it kept raining. We were more than grateful for the invite.  I do have photo's from the day but they are on my pc that is broken and i;m currently using hubbies laptop. :(
