Update
just been for a visit he is very wobbly well falling all over his cage after anesthetic he pooped all over himself so he has a bath :( he is coming home tomorrow to wait for his results so we have set him up a hospital ward in our living room.  :Luv: Just a waiting game now op went as expected had a few very enlarged lymph nodes so the vets have taken multipule biopsy's which have been sent off to Glasgow and will be back around two weeks will keep you all updated.

Thanks once again for all your support my Rolo & our other cat Jeremy really cant thank you all enough  :thanks:

He seems so much better today i just dont understand. I'm still holding out hope. I cant give up until Rolo does

I would be exactly the same. As long as he is comfortable, there is some hope. I'm not up on FIP but understand Diane Addie is the expert http://www.dr-addie.com/ I only know that cats with high titres have managed to recover over time.

I really hope the high titres are just his body fighting it, as cats can fight it and it not develop into FIP, if you do some research there are 4 'effects' when they come into contact - they will fight it completely and then be immune, they will fight it but become a latent carrier (so it might flare up in old age), they can't fight it that well, so it turns into dry FIP (which can be quite slow), and they can't fight it at all, which turns into wet FIP (whihc is the worse). The mass doesn't look good though, have they taken a sample from it at all?

Thanks everyone my vet said corona virus is very high 1200 titres. I really need help Gillian did Gwynnie just have high corona levels was that the dyagnosis the symptoms sound very simular my vet has said that if it was the corona virus alone and not FIP he would be symptom free My head is in a bad place .

Gwynnie's titres were 2,500, and on that basis my vet did think FIP, thankfully it can't have been as she recovered and its nearly 3 yrs ago now.  The symptoms were similar by the sound of it, although Gwynnie lost the use of her back legs, front legs were fine. There was no real diagnosis in her case, they kept her in on the cocktail of drugs I mentioned previously and gradually she started to regain use of her legs.

The presence of coronavirus anitbodies doesnt automatically mean FIP, corona is very common and many cats carry it with no symptoms, but others will have symptoms - Gwynnie's were lethargy, diarrhea and mild sneezing - prior to her losing the use of both back legs. Have you looked at Dr Addie's site about FIP? http://dr-addie.com/index.htm .

Rolo certainly looks quite bright in those photos  :Luv2:  what meds have they got him on?

Unfortunately there is no easy way to confirm FIP until the postmortem stage.  :( The presence of a shadow on the scan is very sinister as this is a classic sign of FIP... really don't know what to say to you, honey.  :'( :'( :'(
