Update
Some fantastic news today he has come on in leaps and bounds his lymph nodes have decreased to a normal size showing signs the virus is no longer infecting them his walking has improved he is lifting his bum!!!! and no longer walking on his hocks but on his paws he is still slightly sqautting but excellent news has put on some weight!!! which is an excellent sign cant help but feel the treatment is working

Good news he has just put on weight no fluid! what a rollercoaster ride didn't sleep a wink last night torchoring myself

Things have taken a turn for the worse he has a swolen abdomen vet said it is probably fluid

he is back to be drained tomorow

Is he squatting as well as digging? - if so, it could be cystitis which is dangerous for boys if they get a blockage. Not sure what else it could be - they are such complicated things

UPDATE

he is much the same lymph nodes have returned to a normal size so that is very good news legs are the same he has had a slight head shakking today a few times rang the vets they said just to keep an eye on him he also keeps digging at the floor or sofa like he is in a litter tray but never goes to the loo? any ideas?

Sounds like you have good reason to be cautiously optimistic

Although I don't have any experience with FIP, with CRF, they say "treat the cat, not the disease" and it seems to be working with Rolo

Hello everyone hope you are all well Rolo seems to be responding well to treatment but we are trying not to run before we can walk as we are on a very long road. Eating is normal and he hasn't had a raised temperature his walking is 100x better i am going to upload a new video of his walking just to get any views on what we can do to help him. he is very bright in hemself and enjoying his junk food much to my dislike!

I have emailed Dr Addie for her advice as according to her flow chart he doesn't have FIP???? any advice on that! ?

I've been following rolo's progess but haven't posted before because I wasn't too sure what to say.

Its sounds like interferon and the positive vibes and your care (of course) has definately helped him :D

Update

Today is bringing good news seem huge improvements in Rolo in the last day and a half eating well doesn't even cover it, anything and everything yes plenty of kitty junk food whiskers Felix and some luxury's walk is much better on his front legs only the odd knuckling on the left so very happy he seems much better in him self very vocal and cheeky hopfully a sign of things to come

Sorry to hear his appetite is poor. When Clapton was close to the end (it was CRF), we struggled to get him to eat. In the end, I hit on buying kitty junk food for him and he did eat some - Whiskas Dry biscuits. Any food is better than no food and at least it has the right vitamins in for cats, despite the high cereal content.
