I think lacto B is brilliant and even with a fussy eater you can mix a half dose in one meal and then another in a different meal. Mine cant be pilled so lacto B the best option and like Susanne start Franta off on it again if hos tummy starts to go and usually after a couple of doses he is Ok agaiin.
He also is a picky eater and just licks jelly or sause of the lumps!
Started if when the stronh abs totally upset him and he was on it for months and months, just used it again over last few days but I think he is OK again. Only put small amounts in his food, every meal time.

Looks more cost effective too. (I don't base my choice entirely on that, obviously. But being on a budget it can be a factor.)
Sage is not necessarily picky, but she's so wary of everything it's difficult to know the best way to treat her with anything. She's scared of Frontline....

I've tried it but I didn't think it was as good as the Protexin Synbiotic DC capsules. Plus with them being capsules you can pop one down their throat if they are a picky eater.

The only problem I have is that you mix it into food - Sage is a "picking" eater rather than a bin. Unlike Darwin....
The other two girls are graze feeders too. Must be a bloke thing!

I think it's excellent. Jaffa went through a phase of runny poos a few years ago (shortly after Mosi arrived - I think it may have been stress related) and I gave him lacto b everyday for a while. They cleared up although occasionally he would relapse so I'd start the lacto b again. I haven't had to use it for at least a couple of years now but it always my probioitic of choice if I need one.
I think Gill has had success with it too.

Will check them both out a bit more. Thanks Gillian.
We personally think Madam Sage is a bit of a nervous eater; she's nervous about everything else. So she eats fast, and then doesn't always digest properly.
She hasn't lost weight so it can't be that bad.

I've used it and found it pretty good, although recently, when one of the kittens had runny poo, vet gave me Fortiflora, which worked a treat too.{link removed to supplier as they have let down rescue cats and Purrs will not support them}

Sorry JS; no experience of Lacto B. I know Gill thinks it's good stuff and I think Sue believes it's helping Paddy out.
Just wanted to send the lovely Sage a
and hope her tummy settles soon

Sage is still getting a gippy tummy and seeing as she's been to the vets two or three times about it and they've found nothing untoward, I thought about trying it.
I'd like opinions from people that have used it for their cats.
