VERY MATURE = 48
- given that i have 2 years to go, IF I graduate, I will be 50. One of our gripes is although we have all kinds of animals onsite, we don't get as much hands-on as we would like. The animal care courses such as HNDs spend a lot of time with them but the BSc is a lot of theory - luckily, not all otherwise I would have given up by now. There is a dairy and a large herd of sheep + pigs, Llamas, goats, horses (They do equine courses there), + lots of small animals, reptiles & birds. Last year, the PDSc behaviour, FDSc Conservation & BSc Animal Management shared a lot of lectures. There are quite a few older people, including a woman in her 60s - but this year I will be the oldie
I love the animal stuff and doing things like visiting WHF, but sometimes wonder what I am doing there when it gets a bit hardcore with biology etc - I hated doing dissection. My least favourite part is business management - I hate it. Luckily my OH has an MBA so I can get help at home
