Keep those vibes coming!
Squirt is still very lethargic but eating on his own.
His eyes are a worry. They put some stuff in to look at his ulcer again and he reacted to it - he was pawing his eye as I left and apparently it swelled up badly this morning so they say he has an allergy to the anaesthetic.
They are offering to take him in again tomorrow and I will so I can get on and do the jobs I didn't get round to today (not to mention a trip to the police station with my motoring documents
and dropping the trap round to a fosterer who has lost one of her feral charges behind the kitchen cupboard
)
I am taking Squirt to Dudley on monday with his mum and brother for the C4 program on neutering.
mum is getting neutered and as its out most of the day, I didn't want to leave Squirt from 7am until the evening - besides which I think his story is also important for a show designed to promote neutering.
I checked with the vet that they had room for them all in the surgery for the day and she tells me the practice has a CH cat and she also has one at home so I am happy he will be well looked after. I have all the notes from the vet Re the medical sage of the last 5 weeks - if I remember them
