I hope Rusty is back by now

I took a call on the CP loine on Wednesday where a cat had been gone for 9 days. I passed the info on to our L&F and received a reply on Thursday morning that the cat walked through the flap at 9am that morning as if it had been gone 10 minutes.

Hope you get Rusty back soon.

Have you knocked on the doors where you have posted the flyers and asked if you can check their sheds and garages as a lot of people might of put it on the side thinking I will check later and have forgot about it.  Just a bit of advice I used to give people when I did lost and found.

I have reunited cats that have been missing 5 months before so do not give up hope on him just yet.  The one that sticks in my mind was a White Persian who some old lady had been feeding but sadly she passed away and the family contacted to see if he could be taken into rescue.  I went searching through records found a cat missing from the same area made a couple of phone calls and we took him in and reunited him with the owners that had lost him.
It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all

St Gertrude, keep my cat all night
From trap or poison, thorn or bite,
From speeding cars and thieving men,
And bring him safely home again.

Hello and   :welcome:  to Purrs

Sorry to hear that Rusty is missing - although it may sound obvious are you leaving some food in the garden or by the back door to entice him home?

Good luck - hope he comes home soon

Thank you so much for your concern and advice.
I have already done most of the things it tells you to do.
I just have to sit and wait now (apart from keep putting more flyers out)

The main thing yu need to do is get posters and flyers out ..... the more people that are looking for him the better your chances of getting him back home soon

Rusty is a ginger and cream persian who's been missing from the Fisherfield Drive,Gorse Covert,Birchwood,Warrington area for 7 days.
He's about 6/7 years old and a very shy cat. He is chipped but, doesn't have a collar on.
There is a possibility that he may have been picked up and dumped somewhere else as there have been a few cats gone missing from this area in the last few weeks or so.
Please check anywhere that he could be hiding..shed,garage,garden etc.,

Call anytime: 07919597130 or 07939663163
