What a lovely caring man, I`ll bet its a rarity to receive a donation when you take in, I know it is here. Good Luck with mum and babies, funnily enough I have nearly all girls.

Latest update on stray pregnant mum is that we think the previous owner has been and picked her up.  Apparently the landlady of the house turned up and found another mum with babies in the house.  Whilst she went to report the situation to the RSPCA, the owner turned up and collected the cat and kittens.  Black and white cat has not been seen since then so we can only assume that she collected her as well. >:(

But things never stand still for long and today have had to squeeze in another mum and four black kittens!!  Had a call from a very nice chap who was at his wits end.  A member of his staff had found the mum and kittens under a fence panel in her garden.  Since she has a dog they could not stay there so took them to work with her to try and find somewhere for them to go.  The chap very kindly went to PAH and spent £126!! on a cat pen, bed, toys, bedding, food, etc etc and then started phoning around to try and find a placement for them without success.  He said the most unhelpful were the RSPCA, which will be to their detriment as he has always made regular donations to them, which will now cease.

I told him I would squeeze them in somewhere and went to collect them.  When I got there, he gave me all the stuff he had bought for them, plus a donation of £264..  Whilst loading the car, I apologised for the stuff in the back which I had just collected from somewhere for car booting.  He then said if I could get to his house he had a shed full of stuff I could take for car boot that he had been saving for the last 2/3 years - all good stuff.  Also found out that he owns the Company, which sets up websites and he told me they would be happy to build me a website for free if I needed it.

So mum and kittens are now ensconced in their nice new pen at home and although mum is a bit upset at the moment I am sure she will calm down overnight.  The strange thing is that the kittens are  not feral so I think they have been dumped since being born rather than being born outside.  They are not hissy and do not mind being picked up etc.  Three girls and one boy so my ratio of boys to girls is evened out a bit.

Forgot to add that Frodo is doing fine, op seems to have been success and ihe is now being spoilt at home, although he cannot have any bedding in case he decides to eat it. :scared:

Sorry for the delay in updating.  Have been without internet for a few days and also been to the vets alot recently.  One of our dogs, Frodo, has been eating stuff again and has had to have major surgery and is at the vets as we speak.  We are hoping he is going to recover but touch and go at the moment and the Vet has confirmed he cannot undergo another op again as his insides are now so scarred.

Anyhow, black and white babies are doing well.  Lyra is definitely the runt of the litter, smaller than the others but both my mums are feeding them and I try and make sure Lyra gets extra with one of them every now and then.  Jess has had the runs over the last 24 hours and has been to the vet but she seems to be recovering.

Stray mum that we are monitoring vanished yesterday so we think she may have had kittens yesterday so hunt is on to find her, but at the moment I have nowhere to put her.  Don't want to put her in the maternity ward if Jess is still not well, so will have to wait and see and tackle things as they happen.

Well it seems that Miaow Miaow was the only cat who was happy with my accommodation for her kittens because Jess has now moved her brood on to the floor under my workspace and though I have tried moving them back into their bed she just takes them out again so I have given up.  Funnily enough all my other mums have moved their babies there as well.

Have posted some piccies from the day they were born and some from today.  I now think I have two girls and four boys so will look through my naming list later.

As you can see from the last picture, Miaow Miaow is feeling a little broody again and even joined in with the cleaning of one kitten which I think Jess might appreciate as she seems to have trouble keeping up with their toileting.

You will also see that their bed is not being wasted. :Luv2:

Pictures 4 and 8 are videos, I think you just have to click on them.

Bless you for still trying to find room for the other mum...bet you wish you had elastic walls.

Through Petsearch I am starting to really see how bad the problem is. CP even referred someone to me...I just don't have the space...I wish I did :(

Jess and babies all doing well.  A couple of them sexed.  Two boys, Captain Jack and Wishbone - you will see what I mean when I eventually get some piccies of them.

Have been to see other mum - definitely pregnant and such a small mum as well.  Am going back today to set up a crate in the garden for her so she has somewhere to go and we are going to continue to feed her.  I think she has at least two weeks still to go so will keep trying for somewhere but everyone down here is full.  Had one of the vets phone me today to take in a stray boy but just no room.  She said she had tried RSPCA and had a right set-to with them!!  If nowhere can be found for new mum I will have to try and squeeze her in here.  Can't have her having this litter and then getting pregnant again - there is only so much one cat can take.  At least the stray is with a vet at the moment so he is safe.

I've decided, to be different we actually have 5 white and blacks and one black and white.    Five of them do actually look more white than black.  The last one is defintely black with white feet though.  Have only sexed one as a boy yet, am letting her settle with them.

Miaow Miaow is unconcerned, and Truman and Willow are just into climbing everything at the moment so no interest there.

Have just had a call from someone I know though who is feeding a pregnant mum, about six weeks gone, and this is her 5th litter.  Apparently comes from a really rough family who she thinks have now been thrown out and left the cat behind. :-[  God knows what I am going to do no, nowhere to put another one that is for sure. :-[

Number two delivered safely, breathing and being cleaned to within an inch ofi t's life.  Seriously, she is being brilliant compared to Miaow Miaow, no sign of afterbirth of first kitten so she is obviously eating these and being very attentive of her kittens  - obviously both black and white  :innocent:
