Latest update for you. Unfortunately Cleo has returned
. Apparently, although the owner fell in love with her, Cleo seemed very stressed and began defecating in the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen sink. It appears all she wanted was to come back home because as soon as she was back she was in the litter tray and happy to be back with all her friends, so it looks like she has decided where she wants to live. I won't try re-homing her again, as this was her second home (returned from the first one following a divorce) so I will not put her through that again.
On a happier note, Emily, who has been waiting for a home for about three years, finally left on Saturday after a successful home check. I just hope she settles better.
Persia has been to the vet today and diagnosed with feline plasma pododermatitis (inflammation of her pads) and has been given medication. Squirrel was neutered last week and has now been described as a "deformed" cat by my vet - I got to work whilst she was still in theatre (not many people get to see the inside of their own cat) and it took him ages to find everything inside because it was all so small! She is recovering well and had her hernia repaired at the same time.
Someone coming tomorrow who is after two new puddies so hopefully someone will take his fancy and will fancy living with him.
Finally, thanks to Angie at Coventry Cats - my food was despatched today Angie, so very contented, fat cats soon.
