Me and Kelly were discussing this when you first mentioned the shop, and we both agreed that doing it on a monetary level is fairer than quarterly.

Tan I think that is a very good idea. So if there are people who will only donate to specific places they know when to shop otherwise shop till the bank account runs dry :)

In the shop there will be a choice of Goods and the 100% of the profits will be given to Rescues on Purrs by rotation. All the rescues will be checked prior to going on the list as best as i can.  Cat Chat does this with thier shop and gives their shop profits over to the next rescue every quarter, we can do this on a period basis as well but as the Purrs shop is smaller than CC's and that might mean one rescue gets a smaller donation than the next each quarter so i think the fairer way to distrube the profits would be for every £100 of profit to go to a rescue in turn.  I will list each rescue which will get the £100 each time so you know when you buy something from the shop, you know who gets that profit at that time.

Do ya think that is a fair way?

Your thoughts are most welcome.  :)

Dont think i would go for a car sticker, I have a nice black cat one and think that is enough - if I did decide to get anohter, am afraid I would go for a charity one rather than a forum one, even though I know the money goes to a cat charity. And, I am with Christine, it would depend on the benificiary too am afraid.

Oooh I love stickers! I want some! Can't decide whether to go for pursonalised or not... I'm thinking it will look cool on Menue's carry case and maybe even her litter tray? I'll have to have a think about it.
For a man to truly understand rejection, he must first be ignored by a cat.

Dogs believe they are human. Cats believe they are God.

No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch.

Hee hee yeah there are two threads to fool ya  :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

The £3 includes the cost for me to post out to peeps (Scott gave me a quote of £2.50 per vynal sticker and is 48p to post out to peeps so if they sold at £3.50, .52p from each sale will go to the rescue fund.

The only thing is that these could not be personalized so would only be purrs as below.

Hiya

Right had a go at home making the car stickers  with special inkjet papers and it's not very easy to do without getting lots of air bubbles inbetween the papers to make the sticker so i have had a quote from our brill printers and they can do the sticker in Vynal (which is far better than inkjet paper) for £3.00 a sticker. Soooo i would sell them at £3.50 each (50p going to the rescues per sticker).
Would peeps buy them at that price or is this too expensive in which case we wouldn't do car or inside window stickers.

Whatcha think hunnies  :)

Hi Lynn

Na the personalized ones don't cost any more to make than the plain ones we have already designed. All we do is put ya personal babes pic on it and print that off and make the sticker instead of just printing a plain one and making the sticker.  ;D easy eh!  :Luv:

I just waiting for the sticker pouches to arrive and i can make em :)

although i think its a lovely idea to have the purrsonalised ones with our own cats on it wouldnt that prove to be more expensive and therefore make less money for the cause ?

I know there are some who discussed this last night and have not posted but I like the first one because I like the bigger Purrs logo and being able to read the writing under the logo.

There are so many fantastic cats who are honored in that logo, and with a bigger logo people can see them  ;D

I like both but can see the merits of people wanting their own cats picture featured. Surely to do this is going to put a lot more work your way Tan,perhaps a little extra on the cost for individual photos?

Good idea Teresa. I would be willing to pay extra to see the Boys and Rascal on their own sticker  :sneaky:

I like the second one too - it's nice to have a bigger pic of the cat(s).

Have you decided on a beneficiary yet (apologies if, in my haste, I've missed the anouncement, quite possible this weekend)?

Now added extra size...................

PURRS STICKERS  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

They will come in two types and sizes.

Type 1 - Normal with back side sticking.
1- A6 size (1/4 of A4, 156mm x 111mm) laminated with peel off tape on back.  These will be 60p each plus 25p 2nd class postage (23p total postage up a batch of 10 stickers).

2- A5 Size (1/2 of A4, 210mm x 149mm) Laminated with peel of tape on back. These will be 85p each plus 55p 2nd class postage (55p total postage up to a batch of 10 stickers)

3- A4 size lanscape (297mm x 210mm) Laminated with peel of tape on back. These will be 1.00 each plus 55p 2nd class postage (55p total postage up to a batch of 10 stickers)

You can have a personalized name on the sticker by order looking like this for an extra 10p per sticker.

Type 2 - Car / window sticker with front sticking in clear adhesive.

We are still sorting a price for these so these are not yet ready.
Size is 290mm x 111mm

As i just can't miss an oppertunity to fundraise for cat rescue  :evillaugh: 100% of the sales excluding postage will go to an indvidual needy cat at one of our rescues on Purrs  still to be decided by little ole me.  :)

The normal type 1 stickers in both sizes are made by meself in our factory down south so if you would like to have one or a batch, please contact me with your order and i will let you know how to pay for them.
If you would like personized names on your sticker/s, please let me know which names with your order.

Please allow 7 days for delivery after payment received. Thanks  :)

Thanks Tan
xx

All my kitchen appliances are integrated so I can't put my fridge magnets up anymore!  :'(  But I would love a car sticker.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.
