Just when I think he's calming down and turning into a regular cat, he goes and proves me wrong. He was such a naughty boy last night and had to go into time out at bedtime (not been there for a while). Then I let him back into the bedroom and all was calm and peaceful - Jaffa snoozing on his bottle beside me, Mosi mooching around and eventually settling down on the bed - until I'm woken up by a clattering sound coming from the kitchen. I get up to investigate (it is 2.30am) and Mosi is playing with his auto feeder in the kitchen. It is the old pet mate double one I've had to resurrect as my normal ones dont' work since my flood. It's worked ok as in when I get home it's open and empty, albeit not quite where I left it. The inserts had been washed and were draining on the draining board, so I left the rest of the feeder, closed and switched off, on the kitchen floor. Mosi had decided that moving it around the kitchen at 2.30am was a good idea
I was not impressed. Eventually we all settled down again until Jaffa woke up at 5.20am so I got up and encouraged him to use the litter tray (so that I could go back to bed and relax) and he was a good boy but as soon as I got back into bed Mosi started running around and just bouncing everywhere! he wasn't chasing Jaffa, he was just full of bounce and leapt around the bedroom, on top of the wardrobe, up the curtains....... I dont know where he gets his energy from. So that was the end of sleep. I'm rather tired today.
