A little update for those interested. The little lady is now around 20 days old and still fighting. The ladies who brought her in did not leave an address for us to arrange to trap mum or to get them a spaying voucher. They did promise to call to see how the little one was doing but up to now they have not rang back. I did have a number in my mobile but it is swallowed up by other numbers i ring so it would be hard to pick out their number without having a name attached.
1 life has been saved which is better than none. My heart misses a beat every time i go to open her cat box thinking she may not have survived another night. But she has proved time and time again that she is a fighter!
I am a small rescue trying to do my bit by rescuing unwanted and abandoned cats/kittens and returning them back to full health and getting them spayed/nutured before finding them loving forever homes. I have cats here that have needed love, care and patience for 6 months or more to bring them round enough for them to be able to be placed for adoption and get their well deserved special home.
I have no funds or donations coming in but each cat gets the love care and attention that they need.
Some cats are being adopted and a few weeks later brought back through no fault of their own. It's extremely frustrating because there is so many more cats i could help if these cats did not return. But no matter what i don't turn them away. So we are right back to the begining trying to find them a new home. A few cats have come back more than once.
Sorry for the essay but i just felt the need to say that.
And thank you JS for putting an update for me.
I have been very busy with the kitten and moving my daughter from Ilkeston to Derby. And iv'e been diagnosed with a prolapsed bladder.
