URGENT - fosterers in Leeds needed for mother cats and kittens
« Reply #1 on: April 01, 2010, 09:54:23 AM »
We have received requests for help for two mother cats and their kittens in different parts of Leeds - both living outside but one using an outhouse for her two kittens.  The other kittens are reported as newborn.  Nowhere in Leeds has room for these two families - if you have a spare room and feel able to accommodate one of them, please let us know.  Caring for mums and kits is quite easy at first as the mums concentrate on their family and the kittens just want to feed and sleep so it doesn't matter if you work full time.  One of the cats is thought to be tame and the other might be timid so a large fold-up pen can be supplied (5'L x 4'W x 4'H).  We will supply all equipment, food and vet treatment and will rehome all when ready (we carry out pre-homing visits to ensure they go to safe homes suitable for their needs).   Due to the fact mums prefer peace and quiet to rear their young and tiny kittens are delicate, we prefer to use foster homes without young children.  Please email if you can help.   :thanks:
