Good question! I don't know, I'd be interested to see what the manufacturer says about that, maybe email them and pose the question?

I wish I could find the article that tells you approx percentage of taurine depletion when freezing...I saw it somewhere, and can't remember what site I saw it on, it wasnt a huge percentage if I remember rightly.

You can order Instincts TC powder from Feline Future online - they have a European distributor, I had some a while back http://www.felinefuture.com/?page_id=2988

You can also order Feline Instincts powder online - they also ship interenationally. http://www.felineinstincts.com/orderNow/orderNow-idx.php

Raw Feeding- taurine and freezing

I have been trying to find supplements to add to shop bught meat to make it complete and I can't seem to find Instincts powder in the UK but I found this on Zooplus: http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/supplements_specialty_cat_food/vitamins/155860

Now as the taurine in meat is partially destroyed by freezing what happens about the taurine in the powder? ie can I make up 1kg of food and powder and then freeze it in individual portion sizes or will I need to add the powder when I defrost each portion?
