Leeds Feral Cat Welfare need help to purchase an electronic cat trap
« Reply #1 on: March 23, 2010, 22:12:34 PM »
Being a new group in Leeds, formed to help the ownerless and homeless, feline waifs and strays of streets, wasteland, derelict buildings and back gardens, we are trying to raise funds to buy equipment such as cat traps, queen cages, hospitalization pens and fold-away cat pens so that we can help neuter and return ferals/strays and bring kittens or pregnant cats into care.  It would be so helpful to have an Electronic Foldaway Eeziset Trap, which is a trap where a remote control closes the door.  This ensures that cats are fully in the trap before the door closes, or if there are kittens, that they are all in the trap before the door closes.  If one or two are still outside when the pressure plate traps are used then they can be frightened off and it's much harder to catch them.  Any donations to help us purchase a trap which costs £250 would be appreciated.  They are available from MDC Exports Ltd, UK.  More details about our group can be found at www.feralcatwelfare.org.uk:thanks:
