Love the pictures of Charlie and Fred they look very happy.

Finally got around to putting some pictures from the Inn on here.

Here Dainty and Fontaine, I don't normally get good pictures of Dainty as she hides but Debbie's peacock feather brought her out of her shell.

Well Winston is still in the living room, we tried so hard but both Debbie and I were reduced to tears this morning and I think Julie was pretty close, you see the wonderful couple came to look and I expected Harry and Wilbur to be the chosen ones, how wrong could I be  I told these lovely people that Winston was the most intelligent cat I had ever come across, I explained his need for television and turkey, I told them he was a little monster who knew exactly what he wants and how to get it but still they had fallen in love with him, I even told them his poop stunk  they loved him and without doubt he chose them. So next Thursday afternoon Winston will be off to his new home and will have a new name Winston Flyrod Montana  how wonderful is that.

Alice went off to her new home this afternoon.

heeee heeee heeee       Oooooh hooooooo.....   :evillaugh:   That has given me a mile wide grin this morning.  The Antics of Young Winston - by gum, he's accurately named.  I'm sure Churchill would be proud of him.

So very pleased Alice is going to her new home today, and got me fingers crossed for Wilbur and Harry.   ;)

Glad that Winston is finally back in his pen.  Have you padlocked it?  You can feed him turkey through the bars, or better still, dangle it in front of him where he just can't reach. That will let him know how it feels to be so near yet so far.  :evillaugh:  I'm joking of course but it would be very satisfying to turn the tables on him.  :tired:

Yes Harry and Wilbur are Saints in comparison with Winston.   I did mention that they'd upended their litter tray and covered not just their pen but the whole floor with the stuff didn't I?   And that they were having a game of footie in their pen with a ping-pong ball when I left so have probably done the same thing again by now.  :shify:  Bless 'em, they're just happy, lively young uns and so loving, and its not their fault that the pen is not quite fooball pitch sized.  :Luv2:  I think its their turn for a home so fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Winston is now in his Pen crying out out ouwout.

I am quite suprised that Aunty Carol hasnt posted what shes been up to today, though in truth she is probably exhausted after spending hours chasing Wicked Winston, needless to say he got the better of us and its 9pm and he is still at large wrecking my leather, I find it hard to accept that I have brought up such a monster; if ever we manage to catch him its outside pens and no amount of sulking or refusing food by him will change my mind.

Aunty Carol also groomed and showed Alice to the family who came to see her and suprise suprise Alice is off to her new home tomorrow afternoon.Well Done Carol.

He is such a splendidly handsome cat, our Jeffrey.   :Luv:

Am sure Winston our Turkey Twizzler will find a home with some unsuspecting crazy person perfect people before too long.  I certainly hope so.  And it would be wonderful if Wilbur and Harry could be rehomed too.   ;D

More of Jeffrey

Hi Teresa,
Jeffrey is settling in well. He has found a number of places to snooze & enjoys
playing with a piece of string! Simple pleasures. There is still some
construction work going on around Kingswood park & he keeps growling when he
sees a work man!
We have thought long & hard about Winston and have decided to stick with just
Jeffrey. I hope you're not too disappointed. He is gorgeous and we have told our
neighbours about him, plus Wilbur & Harry, I think we mentioned to you that they
were thinking of adopting a cat. We hope they'll be in touch.
Jeffrey is now registered with Ashcroft surgery & is booked in for the remaining
vaccinations on 29th feb. Will keep you updated! Thanks again.

As for Winston i have a couple coming to meet him on Saturday my guess is they will choose the wonderfully behaved remaining holy terrors Wilbur and Big Harry
Am really delighted with the way Anastasia has  settled in with Olly and Tula, have been intrigued as to who uses which bed after they are evicted from my bed at night, last night for reasons best known to me I sat alone in the dark till 2am and then crept to peep at the terrific trio, Olly top bunk, Tula bottom bunk and good old Anastasia in Tulas old bed next to the radiator talk about home comforts, last week I was going through the draw looking for a collar for her,at first I found Busters old one and then low and behold Anastasias pink one which she wore when here before, they are all kittycollars which have Paws Inn and the phone number printed on them so last for years.
Valentines day and a single Iris has always brought more happiness than any rose.

Shirley take care

I like Winston's entry too  :evillaugh: It just falls short of calling him a hooligan  :evillaugh:

I don't think he's a hooligan  ;)  its just that once he's out he does NOT want to go back in his cage (even though its a big one) but unfortunatley he has to.  I suspect that when he finds his forever home he will settle down but only time will tell.  :shify:   One thing's certain, he'll make sure he gets his own way.  :evillaugh:

Some really good news today. An ex Paws Inn cat who went missing last August has turned up safe after all this time, its times like this that make you so thankful for the microchip we put in when we neutered him.

Fantastic news!   :wow: :wow:

Still read about the wonderful Paws Inn, as i have notifications,  but haven't been commenting......ex hubby is in hospital, terminally ill, so have been visiting every day....very distressing and stressful..... :( :(

Hope you're keeping ok Teresa

Ah wicked Winston - good name for him T.   We alll know that cats will do only what they want are good at getting their own way but Winston takes it to a whole new dimension and I know from experience that T is not exaggerating when she says how difficult impossible he is to catch. :shify:  He's just so adorable though. :Luv2:

Wicked Winston is in disgrace,he had a wonderful playtime yesteday with his new peacock feather Debbie brought for him, and then when it was time to put him back in his Pen, he decided he wanted to play catch.Poor Debbie and I spent 4 hours chasing him by which time we were all exhausted. Have now decided that Winston is looking for a home with television, peacock feather, cheese, turkey and an olympic athlete to care for him  he has spent most of the morning hitting his hanging ball in order to ring the bell  I am still considering moving him back to an outside Pen,I thought the holy terrors were bad but he takes the biscuit.
All other inmates happy and well behaved
