Cats are all doing fine and all recovered from last Thursdays vaccinations and wormer. Tomorrow Bettybumtious and Fussypussy are in for spay, so hard to believe they are 6 months already; on Wednesday Lark, Lily and Fontaine are all in for their spays , thankfully I have managed to get transport with Rob, Julie and Debbie all helping out. I can drive but am unable to walk to car so am useless.

I'm not looking, am terribly broody after seeing a little mitten somewhere the other day.
I will be attending the open day with no bags and no pockets!

Hope you're doing well T and have managed to enjoy a bit of the sunshine this weekend

Hmmmm - A fiesty little one, eh?    :evillaugh:  Teresa, you clearly checked Aunty Carol's pockets when she left, otherwise they'd have been bulging by the sounds of things.

Had a lovely day at the Inn today -  :thanks: Teresa ands Debbie.  If its true that every cat I fall for finds a home with someone else then you shortly waving goodbye to Chelsea, Annabel, Lily, DodgerDora, Star, Betty Bumptious and ermm............ all of them really.  :Luv2:

Helped to get the kittens organised for vet Andy when he arrived to do their second vaccinations and naming no names, but one decided that HE  ;) wasn't having any of it and drew blood - lots of it, and not just mine but Andy's as well.  :evillaugh:  His brother Jip and his sisters were well behaved though.  :sneaky:

Cats all fine though finding it a little on the hot side. Vet coming thursday to do second half vaccinations and master Jip will be coming to visit too. Good news is that the convenia injection sorted Ivan the terribles wee problem out, considering his feral background he is a very dear old boy and everyone who meets him falls for him hook line and sinker.

Claire hope something can be done to help your back soon.
Aunty Suepoo that spare room is still available for you and Tess.
Hoping to have a visit from dear aunty Wendolene soon, she has a good effect on homing because every cat she falls for finds a home with someone else.

Hello Teresa

Hope you're still feeling improved.  Sending much love to you and topping up the hugs and the cuddles.

I would love to be able to come to the open day and am investigating methods of travel to see if it will be viable.  If I can't make it, rest assured I will be sending my love and praying for a beautiful day of blue skies and sunshine.   :)

Paws Inn are holding our summer open day on 6th August 2011 from 1pm tp 5pm and we are opening our doors to supporters for the final time to thank everyone for all their help and contributions over the last 20 years.

It is with great sadness and after much soul searching that we have to announce that we have now closed our doors to new residents and we will fully close once we have found perfect homes for all our remaining guests. We need to continue fundraising to support our current residents until that time.

It is time that Teresa and Rob had a rest from caring for cats and spent some well deserved time to themselves. We thought that an open day would be the perfect way to celebrate all the lives that have been saved by the Inn over the years and give supporters a chance to share their stories (and maybe think about adopting another cat!).

As always, the open day will include a few fundraising treats for attendees.  This will include a Paws Inn Visitor Book where the slaves of former Paws Inn residents can pay £1 and have the chance to include a photo of their gorgeous cat and some words about them.  This will be a living memory of all the thousands of cats that owe their lives to the Inn. Please don't forget to bring a photo!

A delicious Paws Inn afternoon tea is included in the admission charge.

If you would like to visit then please email pawsinn@aol.com for contact details and directions.

Admission is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children (includes afternoon tea).

We look forward to seeing you or if you can't make it then a donation would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks
Paws Inn Cat Rescue, Weaverham
