Its very wet and windy and I am sitting here like a drowned rat (now that I have finished mucking out) BUT I need to share a very special bit of Sunshine who this morning went to her food bowl and began to eat,ok she picked most pieces up licked the jelly and then spat the offending lump out but she pretty nearly filled her own tummy doing this, I only got 6 ml in with the syringe which she gladly accepted until syringe no 7 when she told me she was full. Need to point out that Sunshine has not wanted food at all and only way to get anything in has been with 1ml syringe so feeding been long difficult job.
Yesterday we invested in yet another collapsible pen as the one the babies were in was too small, room inside for scratching post, food bowls and very posh suede bed (ok its covered with soft fleece) anyway the kittens love it and Simon loves his scratching post," yes girls its all mine" or so he thought, his sister Sunny is bigger than him
and while Simon and Sunny are deciding who is boss little Summer runs up top of said post to claim victory
Muckspots need to be evicted they are total hooligans who jump up on worktops, throw all clean washing on floor, puncture my legs, run up your back, lick yes lick your face and generally cause mayhem, even the poor dog doesnt loiter in the kitchen anymore, I will never understand why people want kittens.
All the other inmates dare I say it are happy and well, Annabel is having fun stealing her kittens solids and is back to her usual chubby self.
Wilma is coping very well without Monica but I guess Wilma knew about the cancer before we did.
Sophie and her 7 terrors are almost as bad as the muckspots now, I take 4 bowls of food, dish of kitten milk and water in and am mugged by the lot of them who have gone from scrawney things to fatties.
Cant remember if I told you that we had to take Chelsea away from her kittens as she was attacking them and kittens were pooping everywhere, well mum gone an extra tray and all is well again. Chelsea on the other hand is proving very difficult, she hates all other cats and is very angry with us for putting her in a smaller pen, we need some homes but it seems there are only unsuitable ones at present.
Had a scare with Fuchsia who went missing from her bedroom the other day, she didnt appear for food and Rob raised the alarm, decided she was dead somewhere in the room and began calling and searching, bless her as soon as she heard my voice she let out a little cry, she had somehow got behind the drawers of the bed which were bolted shut and got stuck, I had to remove everything to get her out, she was so grateful she repeated the performance the following day.
