Cracker's such a loveable little chap isn't he! Has he met his new housemate/new baby yet?

Actually new baby was in photo with Cracker and kittens but I cut baby out. Baby has been staying here since leaving hospital on Sunday, this morning I actually found an hour to cuddle him (baby not dog). Must admit bottlefeeding tiny kittens helps keep you up to speck with human babies

Annabel seeems to be quite happy with her babies so far.

Aw, so glad she's back home although I bet you're finding it a bit frustrating that no cause has been found. Fingers, toes, and paws crossed it was very much a one off.

Annabel is home and currently under attack by four little kittens who are delighted to see her,Annabel has done a couple of growls and stolen all the kitten food but she has washed each kitten and thanked me for the shabby state I left them in, kittens all trying to get at the milk bar, will need to keep close eye on all but fingers crossed it works out ok for a happy reunion.
Vet no idea what caused her to be so ill and she is home without medication.

Still waiting for proper update from vet but nurse said Annabel was brighter and eating when I rang early this am, so hopefully all will be well.
Meanwhile her 4 babies have exhausted me, thankfully they are now in a heap soundly sleeping.

Hope Annabel is feeling better soon! Fingers crossed the vets can work out what is up and treat her quickly.

Hope Lucy is able to take a spoonful of sugar with her medicine and not a chunk of your finger!

The latest from vet is that the metacam has brought Annabels temp down to 101.6, she is very poorly and will be staying at vets.
Norman Wisdom did a giant wee in the tray and Darcy obliged with a huge poop, they are all going to be swines to feed and I refuse to get a bottle out. I went and bought a mini food chopper and cooked chicken in desperation, they didnt like that either.
As for Lucy she doesnt like the calcium supplement I was lucky to get away with my fingers, her kittens have at least kept the poop off their faces so far today.
The muckspots think all this chicken is wonderful and are having the time of their lives practising their new found talent     Growling

We have had to rush to vets this morning with Lucy and Annabel and their 9 kittens.  Lucy has a calcium problem yet again despite which can be rectified with suspension vet has prescribed.
Annabel on the other hand is very seriously ill with a temperature of 107.5, vets have kept her in, we are worried sick about our ballerina and have no idea what ails her but its most likely some form of virus. Her kittens are here with me for handrearing, they appear to be fine thus far.

Sophie and her kittens finally all eating for England and doing well; Chelseas kitten Dinky still being syringe fed but she is going to food bowl now and looks much brighter this morning.
Lucy appears to be having another bad baby day, have given them all kitten soup but one kept crying so into the litter tray I put her, tickled her fancy until she piddled and stupidly thought job done, into a nice clean bed with mum washing the kitten soup off babies while I was busy cleaning out Bonny and suddenly there was a loud growl a real dont mess with me growl, poor little kitten had done her first poop in the bed and made a right mess, of course now they are eating solids mum will no longer toilet them and mum was angry at said dirty bed. Flash forward all kittens cleaned off with baby wipes, clean bedding and Pen scrubbed yet again and where is Lucy? sat outside the bed not wanting anything to do with said kittens, also no milk there again, she is one very strange little mum.
Could have done without extra washing this morning as new washing machine going to be plumbed in later and need to get old one out, now old one is busy washing yet more vet bedding  I bet Pedro would have had much to say about the replacement  :)
