Sarah Daisy and Mac are staying together.Glad the Scamp/Scrumpberry hisses are subsiding, will look forward to the pics.

Claire Kenny is huge and thinks he rules the roost, I put him in his place this morning by ramming (well not Quite) a milbemax down his throat  Andy vet coming out Tuesday to do a further 12 vaccinations including Kennys.

Heres some more pics, Sweetpea was very annoyed at me oover the Milbemax

I am so pleased for Twinkle and for Daisy and Mac,   what wonderful news.

The pics of Kenny are stunning,   I really cant wait to get my hands on that little boy,  I say 'little' but he has grown so much since I last saw him.

Well done on the shopping T,  no wheelchair and no oxygen,  you must have felt completely liberated

Excellent news T - at this rate Paws will be empty by Open Day!

I had a funny feeling little Mac wouldn't be 'left on the shelf' for long  are him and Daisy being homed together?

Scrumpberry and Scamp have had futher sniffs and Scamp's hisses subsiding so all going well. Will dig the camera out shortly.

Well finally home and done full round of the inmates, all looking wonderful so I can sit and relax.
Managed to arrange a viewing for tomorrow morning but possibly taking in Chelsea`s friend that I couldn`t squeeze in last week.
ClaireR been this evening and attended to Chelsea`s kittens eyes and they look wonderful so I have been worrying for nothing.
Christopher and James are wonderful together but were pushing each other in front for affection.
All ferals came to see me except Hettie and Milly who were fast asleep in the greenhouse but looked up with an "O shes back".

;D glad to hear you're being released - hope you back home whilst it's still light so ou can inspect your various inmates!

I don't think the fact that it was dark would stop T from doing an inspection.  :evillaugh:  Glad to hear the escape is official.   We want lots of pic now.

Think I am liking her official name even more;when you think about it Scamp did get to see her new born sister before she left the Inn I`m sure they will soon be climbing curtains together and running you ragged before they cuddle up together for a snooze.
Release date, they either release me today or I run, I kept clothes here and credit card this time so have proper means.

Rob updated last night and is coping well with Graces kittens all bar one whose eye is causing concern, told him how to deal with it, so hopefully it will be OK till I get home later, they have been to vets.
He had me laughing about little Mac who is now eating solids, mum had been stealing all the food so Rob put dish in bed for her and dish outside bed for Mac, Daisy got wise to this and when she tried to steal Mac hissed his mum and raised a paw to her  he is one spoilt little man.
Am missing all the kittens/cats and longing to meet the newborns but for some strange reason I cant wait to catch up with Christopher and James now they have struck up such a lovely friendship.
Really must get naming committee to work this weekend.

Sorry to hear that Marigold and Sweetpea's potential home as fallen through. Perhaps it wasn't meant to be and it's a blessing in disguise?

Any news on your potential release date T?

Quick Scrumpberry update - so glad you like the name Teresa. I feel a bit bad about renaming her as you did so much for her and her family. As said in previous message her name in full is still 'Scrumptious Blackberry' so that will be used for official ceremonies
She was a little confused at first over which was her bed and which her litter tray bless her but seems to have the hang of it now. She's been eating extremely well and is getting very confident in her new surroundings (sill just the spare room). At first when OH and/or I entered the room she'd cower in the corner (would come and give us a sniff and a snuggle within seconds however) but doesn't fear the door opening at all anymore. There's a gap of almost an inch of the spare room door where we've been letting the two sisters have a bit of a sniff. Scamp/Chico can tell there's something of interest behind the door and there's been a minor hiss which is to be expected but we're not going to rush further introductions.

Hope Lily's settling in is going well.

Have a good weekend all!

x

With regards to identifying the all black kittens would non-toxic different shades of nail varnishes on their front claws help?  I'm sure I saw that on a american rescue shelter tv episode once xx

I was thinking I need totally makeovers on them , perhaps 1 redhead, 1 pink, 1 purpleall over hairdo`s  doubt my eyesight could see coloured claws  but thank you for thinking about our little problem

:evillaugh: You may have an idea there, how about food colouring - thats non toxic and will wash off their fur eventually?

Tried food colouring once useless on black coats, one litter of 5 I bottle fed were so alike I gave one a haircut, one a shoulder trim, and another a back trim with one other a tail trim, and lucky 5th one stayed as is

Daisymac evidently Rob took Lily down to the summerhouse to say goodbye to Kenny, Marigold and Sweetpea, her parting words to them were " HISS GROWL HISS" in other words she was glad to see the back of them and be off to her new home.
The home I had in mind for Marigold and Sweetpea seems to have fallen through, my fault for being where I am.Will try harder when they release me.

Blackberry and I got home fine and mother and baby are doing well

She's amazingly affectionate just like big sis Chico/Scamp....but that goes without saying as I'm sure all the Paws kitties are so wee 'brought up' by T and Rob  :)   she was a little nervous at first but soon got over that. She's now asleep in the 'nursery' set up in the spare room. She's not met her big sis yet but has a blanket with her scent on and likewise Scamp's been sniffing the cat carrier. Thanks so much T for letting me become her mum  :Luv:

Although we think Blackberry is a gorgeous name and suits her we're thinking of naming her 'Scrumpberry' as in 'Scrumptious Blackberry'. Our other black cats have names beginning with 'Sc' and even my friends' kitten who's set to be rehomed with us is called 'Scratchy' (from the Simpsons).

Will post some piccies soon  :)

Kenny, Sweetpea and Marigold said farewell to their mum Lily yesterday morning.

Lily is actually going to be next door neighbour to 2 of my Tulas kittens who are now almost 10 years old, so she will be in good company.
