Ello Everybuddy its Morse ere, I fout I betta let ya know zat I iz feelin the teeniest tiniest bit betta, I managed to smell some kitten food but I couldnt eat it, well at least I pretended to show interest  ;) I ave just ad another undignified syringe feeding and ze old boot got 9ml of instant concentrate in me, old boot says its strawberries wiv out ze cream and I ad sprinklin of fairy dust. Old boot az even changed my name to wait for it  ...Mr. Morsel ... and she az bin singin Bob the Builder to me, Can we fix im meanins me YES we can

As you can see minute improvement in our Morsel, so I will attempt couple of hours sleep tonight and pray the improvement continues. No need to worry about this old boot as long as cats are fine so am I. I have even fitted in quick trip round supermarket, no oxygen, no wheelchair today, its been a very hard day but hopefully I have climbed my biggest mountain.

Carolyn lovely to hear from you, hugs to the wonderful Momo and Cassidy. I have 2 grandsons due , daughters 24th Sept (however she is now on insulin 4 times daily and baby is enormous so a decision regards an early birth will be made on 3rd August. Youngest son and partner expect their son mid October, then 1 will have my own Grannies 5 a side football team

Please keep Morsel in your thoughts and prayers he is one very precious little character.

Great news that you're home, a clever escape indeed ;)

Sending healing thoughts for Morse (get well soon) and Monica.

Momo & Cassidy send you some big sloppy cat kisses.  They haven't been feeling well themselves lately (that will teach them not to chase and eat flies!) but luckily the antiobiotics the vet gave them for their dodgy tummies worked quickly and they are back to their usual selves now (a big relief).  We've invested in a giant insect-o-cutor now and have to find somewhere high up on the kitchen wall to put it out of paws' reach!

It's good to hear that rehoming at the Inn is going well so positive news all round hopefully :)

Big hugs,

Carolyn, Alan & the Bump

PS Baby is due on 3rd September so not long now.  When is your next grandchild due? I seem to remember it's about the same time as our little one :)

Just a quick update, No real improvement in Morse I`m  afraid he is still fighting for his life. He has now been given everything I asked for at the vets so its a case of keep up the care, the syringe feeding and the prayers.
Rest assured I am doing everything possible for him.

Monica`s giant head lump was an abcess which has burst, I suspect she had a set to with Darth Vader,so instead of trapping we are trying to treat with AB`s hidden in food.

All others well.

Me worn out, Not been to sleep since I got home yesterday.

Hi Everyone

Just logged on to give you an update on Morse and our new arrival.

We have been back to the vets with Morse this morning as he is hasn't eaten much.  We have had the works done by the vet including an xray to check his lungs and airways and we have arrived back home with him.  The little man has managed 5ml of food via syringe which we are very proud of him for and we have left him to have a little sleep to gain some strength.  He needs your thoughts and vibes, but he is a little fighter.  We have posted a photo of him this morning.

Other photo is of Dusty a new arrival today, she is about 5 months old and was passed to us via a link on cat chat.

Final photo is of the handsome James....he has had lots of cuddles today and wanted to show you all how handsome he is!!

Daisy and Mac photos (along with others!) will follow tomorrow!!

Cx

Ok I am home, managed to walk out of hospital as planned.Great fluffybanana up with medication so it was 6.30 when we finally left, but I am FREE.

Home coming hectic Little Morse still poorly and needed his mum, he refused to eat for Rob today, have sat him on my knee and he has had a good feed of adult smelly food and have also given him electrolyte fluid, he looks much brighter but I will be taking him into vet in morning.
Monica feral has an enormous lump on her head and I need to get the trap out to catch her to get her to the vet.
Phone jammed full with calls including some woman with a mobile number saying come and get these 3 feral kittens out of my garden, that was yesterday, phoned her and its a mobile on answerphone.
O the joys of being home and feeling needed again.
Had a quick inspection of all other cats and all looking fine, the improvement in James both healthwise and confidence wise is wonderfull.
Little Mac well he is stunning, huge and WOW.
Will try and get pics and full update tomorrow.
