I wonder what she could be dreaming of...

How on earth do I quote a picture,  exept to say Aunty T wishes that Marigold could become little sister to Lu and Riley.

I honestly couldn't think of anything I'd like more but I'd be so worried about Lu, he's such a sensitive little soul and I'd hate for him to feel frightened or worried in his own home  :(

She is aboslutely stunning though, she even has the pink nose that I need to complete the set  :Luv2:

It is a lovely sunny day at the Inn today and to celebrate the sunshine Lily's kittens have opened their eyes to have a look!!!

We have been on serious cuddling duty (jealous or what!!) and thought you might like to see some pictures of some of the residents.

Enjoy.

Poor Violet. Thankfully her last moments were ones of pure love from you Teresa. Thank you for doing that for her.

It looks like all your residents are thriving on your love and kindness. If only poor Violet had made it to you sooner. You still might not have been able to save her but she would have got the best chance there could be, of that I am sure.

Bluebell is such a stunningly beautiful kitty and her wee Pansy is sure to grow into a stunner too.

Lily's bambinos look like they are very contented. The little black one with white toes reminds me of Emily (RIP) when she was that small, she used to like sleeping all bundled up with just toes peaking out.

The Greenhouse Dez Rez looks like it is missing only 2 things to me... a swimming pool and palm trees. It looks like a 5 star feral cat holiday home. No wonder Darth has moved in and put his beach towel on the best sun lounger. If I were him, I would of too!!

It seems Darth Vader has booked himself into the Inn and stolen Hetties posh green blanket too, seems these feral recognise quality when they see it, Darth Vader was on the brink of death with an injured leg when I first encountered him 2 winter ago,he had at that time taken himself upstairs in Barneys Bunker and was suffering from horrendous cat flu, I gave him a dish of food heavily laced with antibiotics and Bisolvin, he ate the lot then hobbled off, I hadnt realised his leg was injured when I fed him, anyway he has been feeding here ever since, he is totally feral but I must admit I have a soft spot for him especially as he has gone from a skinny cat to a big chunky one.
A few more terrible pics.

I echo Liz's thoughts Teresa.      You gave her compassion and a loving touch at the last.  Bless you for that.

On a happier note, the babies are just beautiful, although I confess that I too have been smitten with the magical Marigold.  Am still chuckling at "Bossy Boots Peanut Pokey Paws"......  AKA Pansy

Poor Violet.  :Luv2: :Luv2: After having such an awful life recently that woman threatened to put her back on the road!!!   >:( >:( What is wrong with these people that they haven't got a bit of compassion for an animal in such desperate need????   >:( >:(  Thank goodness she contacted the right person in you, Teresa!     RIP little Violet  :Luv2: :Luv2:
I found a poorly stray recently, very skinny, bony, disorientated and took him to my own vets. He needed lots of tests to find out what was wrong with him, which i couldn't afford, but the nurse contacted the RSPCA and they asked if i could take him home until the next morning. I had him in my spare bedroom, gave him lots of cuddles and he was collected as promised by a lovely Inspector. I'd advertised him in my local paper and his owner picked him up the next day-she told me he had liver cancer and was 14!!!! Two days later, she was knocking my door to tell me he had escaped again and would i keep a look out for him!!   >:(  She'd had him from a kitten but there wasn't one poster anywhere.... I went looking for him myself in dense bushes but never found him and, after a few days, the owner stopped answering my texts/emails... :(

Great news about Del Boy!

Kittens are just beautiful!!   :Luv2: :Luv2: One of my mom's carers who lives near me,  took in a stray a few weeks ago and she (the cat!) gave birth to 4 kittens on Sunday   :Luv2: :Luv2: She's keeping the mom and one kitten and has homes for the other 3 already. Of course, they're all beautiful and not all as lucky as these or the one's that end up with you! Why don't people neuter???? It makes my blood boil !!!!!   >:(

(This is the above mommy and her babies   :Luv2: :Luv2:

We had Andy our vet here today as we had too many to take to the vets. Daisy the beautiful tabby girl who came in with Lily from Bolton appears to be pregnant, I suspected it and vet says he is almost certain she is; however Bluebell shows no signs so she has been vaccinated today and is booked in for spay on monday along with Maisie and Pepsi. Pepsi`s 5 kittens Korky, BlackJack,Midnight, Blackberry and Bramble also had their first vaccinations as did Bossy Boots Peanut Pokey Paws ( told vet just to write Pansy on vac card for short ) :evillaugh: Lily had both vet and me in pleats she watched as each cat was brought to examination table and then started rattling her pen door as if to say "heh dont forget me, I want some". It was so lovely to have a vet visit and all cats fit and well.

Sadly 10 minutes after vet had left I had a call from a woman who had found a cat on the road, she said if I didnt take it she would put it back on the road because she was busy and she certainly wasnt paying for a vet. I took the little cat and had to rush her to the vet; I have seen many horrific sights in my years doing rescue but this little girl reduced me to tears:
Despite being shorthaired she was a mass of lugs having not been able to groom herself for many months, the most putrid stench came from her mouth and her poor little fragile body was so emaciated, unable to eat she had starved for so long. Andy examined her while I hoped against hope we could do something to help her, I called her Violet Forget Me Not and managed to give her a little kiss as Andy told me she was riddled with cancer and needed PTS. It is heartbreaking when PTS is the only kindness you can give. I held her and told her how very beautiful she was as she left this awful world.
I sincerely hope these pictures do not distress anyone.
