Just checked up and Mac is warm and has a full tummy not suprising when he has his own private milk bar, Daisy insisted on checking my hands were empty as I closed the Pen door, so a protective mum, hopefully all will now be well.
Daisy was also spayed and microchipped yesterday so wont have to face the knife again.

Such a wonderful sight as Daisy was reunited with her son Mac at 7am, she did a huge purring dance whilst licking him at the same time; have just been back to check up on them and Daisy is half sitting with leg up as Mac appears to be suckling; want to leave them undisturbed for as long as possible before I pick kitten up to check he is indeed getting food.Got everything crossed for them as mothers milk is always best.

Normally tucked up in my bed at this time but things not gone well with Daisy, she is still not awake properly and falling over each time she gets up; after over 2 hours of trying to milk her and trying to get baby to suckle I had to admit defeat; baby will climb on her but not suckle, have even put vital milk on her teats as a tempter, anyway baby is with me for bottlefeeding until mum is more awake, poor girl doesnt know whats hit her and totally ignores baby at moment if I leave them together I will find a crushed kitten before long. Hopefully she will accept him when she is properly awake. Kitten is feeding well from the bottle.
We knew Daisy was having problems and only expected one kitten, thank goodness I was extra vigilant today.

Anyway on Saturday during the Purrs peeps visit we were discussing Daisy and her kitten to be and named him then, thank goodness he is a he.

Introducing Daisy and her son Mac  think you all know who they are named after

Daisy had caesarian 1 live baby born at 6.55 this evening, Andy found 2 mummified babies inside her. I am going to vets to bring her home in 10 minutes.
