Glad everyone is ok and the test results are clear.

Special thoughts for Morse...he was such a little character who stole everyone's hearts.

Brilliant news T, especially about Lily and her babies!  :Luv2:

Glad to hear Dusty is ok  :)  and the others of course.

but in truth the tears are flowing again for my little Morse.

 I was flicking through the thread this morning to look for Blackberry photos and saw Morse, I had to quickly scroll past as I had a real soft spot for him   :(

Todays report and firstly for Janey
Dusty spayed, fitted with microchip and eaten her tea.

Twinkle the cerebral hypoplasia kitten has been spayed at 5 months , fitted with her microchip and has eaten her tea.

Rob took Graces babies to see Andy as their eyes would never have opened without help, Andy did the deed and released all the puss, hopefully Rob will cope with treating them now until I get home.

Finally Lily,( I pm`d Daisymac with the blood results first )

Lily spayed, microchipped and NEGATIVE Felv/Fiv, she has eaten and is recovering well away from her kittens, all being well she is off to her new home tomorrow evening.
This means that Kenny Dalglish (Lewis) can safely go live with Daisymac and Junior Officer Ripley, I am so happy and relieved but in truth the tears are flowing again for my little Morse.

Teresa, words can't express how glad I am you stepped in when I posted for advice on Pepsi and Chico. I'd heard from a fair few Purrs members how good your rescue was and see pictures of the much improved states of cats that had been in your rescue.

It's amazing what a difference you made in those cats lives, and so many others.

Have just been reading very start of this thread, when Pepsi and Chico arrived in March, I have had so much pleasure looking at pics of Pepsis baby grow up and when I think about it I am so happy because they went to their new homes in pairs, Blackberry who was alone is now part of a pair with Chico/Scamp and of course Pepsi is having the time of her life as an only cat. Life is good.
Have seen my consultant today and with luck I should be home late on Friday so will be able to devote my time to the cats again with renewed vigor, I cant wait to see my new babies first grey born at the Inn in a blue moon and I miss the event
Wish I could get info on how Lily, Twinkle and Dusty are doing and more to the point waiting for these blood results is hard.

........what I want to know is How come I struggle to find names for days on end when yours arrives via trap and says "hi I`m Charlie"

  I'm like you T - never can think of the right name.  With the exception of Korky all my cats have started out as one thing and then become another as their personality develops.

Hope the speys are straightforward and have everything crossed for Lily's blood test.    to you

Looks like it's time to make a confession.....I'm the lucky, lucky, lucky one who's becomming a Paws mother for the second time  :)

So glad it's making you happy too T. I can assure you all that I'll post piccies and updates regularly.

It actually looks like Blackbery will be coming to us with another kitten the same age. Not another Paws one alas but a friend/colleague's unable to care for hers anymore (long story!). And both cheeky little black ones!

When my fiance and I moved into our new home in February we took our cat from our parents house where we'd previously both lived. When the summer months arrived it became very obvious that Scruff was missing outdoor access and was getting very down. It was with great reluctance that we decided Scruff would be better off back with my parents. They missed him awfully too. Happily he's settled back in with them like he'd never been away. I don't think the family of voles in the garden are very impressed with his return mind!

So that means once our new arrivals get here we'll have a total of three which is manageable for us.

Sending love and  big  to Charlie and Lilly and the girls who are having the speys.

I Like Cellopuss - has a sort of T S Elliot ring to it.  And I also like the idea of Drum-knott, as he's a character in Terry Pratchett's discworld series, and a very wise and dependable individual he is too.

Timpani, Oboe, Harp-o, Viola, Quaver and Crotchett...........   ;)

I had been thinking along musical names too, we know there are 3 girls trouble is both Claire and me are unsure on last 2, we think 5 girls but that would be strange.
I was thinking of Composers too like Dupussy (Dubussy) if there is a boy there.Be really good if we could make a catty names out of musical themes like Tuttipuss or Rococcocat

Grace and her babies also have a theme, her 3 girls are Faith, Hope and Charity little boy still nameless.

Think Chelsea`s babies will be easy once they are sexed.

It was an honour for me helping out yesterday and great to meet Claire and all of the imates :)  My otherhalf said he was "secretly very disappointed" when I returned empty handed!

Melody's kittens are absolute beauties but I think you're right T - telling them apart will be a most impossible task   A thought's just occurred to me re names - as mum's name is Melody how about some musical terms? I've looked up an online musical terms glossary (http://www.classicalworks.com/html/glossary.html) and there's some very pretty names such as Allegra (means "A direction to play lively and fast" so very apt for a kitten!), Cadence, Rococo, Harmony, Tutti, Soprano etc.

Hope the recovery is going well T - will send you a PM later with full report but I'd better get back to work now!

Beautiful babies though (even if the blacks are multiplying, bless them!)  :)

Sorry not able to update before now.

Numbers increased again yesterday when Chelsea the semi feral I squeezed in on Friday gave birth to 3 gorgeous babies, I am not convince she is finished but time will tell.I am so pleased I went to so much trouble to make room for her. So far we have 2 blacks and 1 grey. The number of solid blacks at the Inn is getting out of control
ClaireR I gather worked hard to do a move around yesterday so that Melody and her 5 could go into a big kitten Pen and from the pics Rob brought me last night they look so happy considering they had spent their lives in a coal shed. Grace the other mum still looks tired and sad but Rob tells me she is becoming very trusting of him and I am sure she will soon look brighter, her kittens are certainly growing and trying to open their eyes.
We also gained a new helper in Lil Scruff yesterday who was soon set to work scrubbing, So sorry Sarah but a huge thank you.
Yes best own up I have been in hospital since Saturday morning.
First pics coming up, not wonderful as Rob didnt want to disturb new mum.
