Still no kittens, so human won the race  :)

Just finished cleaning out reprobates in kitchen and decided that baby wipes are useless today as the muck is too bad so guess who will be bathing 6 kittens again later, pity Julie Pinkbear isnt closer I could smuggle them in with hers  :evillaugh: Think I will start wormer today, have held off till now on vets advice.
Poor Rob is having great fun doing all the mucking out and the altered Pen is causing chaos but we have 5 big kittens who are all much happier with their new surroundings and our isolation block is now totally an isolation maternity wing  must get some pictures as soon as I get time but I really need a bath as this eau de cat is sickly strong, strange I never noticed it when I used to smoke.

Hopefully will find out about my new grandson later today, though I already knew details like he will be called Tom,  the important thing I need to know is about his little lungs as Margaret should have had steroid drip to prepare them for early birth: when Gavin phoned I was going through the trauma of having a 3 year old lock himself in bathroom and 6 year old giving me a plastic spoon to break him out, suprisingly it worked and I got the door open and 3year old Jack who was sat on loo, frowned  at me as he announced "I am having a Poo" exit grandma but saved by the bell literally as that was when Gavin phoned and said gather the boys and put phoned on loud speaker, you can imagine the excitement and chaos that erupted, fortunately relief babysitter took over as I had to return home for nebulisers and so I leave you all with that happy picture.

I never ever want to relive the last 2 days but am delighted to say that new Grandson arrived just under an hour ago, I dont have any details yet, but have found the whole experience harrowing.
Cat still not given birth.

Grandson has still not arrived.

Cat Pens new accomodation and Pen reshuffling has worked, very heavily pregnant girl happy in her Pen and if we bring Bonny into house in a collapsible Pen we have the 2 Pens we need to fit in mum plus 6 and mum plus 7 so feeling quite pleased with myself though somewhat worn out, Rob did most of the work yesterday but I also overdid things and that was before looking after grandsons. Hopefully today will be easier and I wont have to babysit. Did notice that bonnys kittens are in dire need of a bath again, think they like the smell of the lavendar johnsons baby shampoo.Desperately need to get pics sorted and update Catchat pages and Pawsinn site and start finding some homes, just not enough hours in the day.
If I were half the woman you are.....
You saying I`m fat ? I think we both put rather a lot of effort into being mad cat women
Right got to go and scrun Bonnys kittens pen out now they`ve finished doing breast stroke in kitten food

Goodness T - you really are full to the brim and spilling over. AND you still get time to bake homemade Bakewells! A Wonder Woman or what?!?!

For all those that use baby wipes on grubby kitties - Tesco have packs of 'Value' range un-scented baby wipes for 22p. They're very, very good and I would strongly recommend them. I got some Vale wet wipes once and they were utter rubbish but these baby ones are excellent.

Happy wiping!

Today is one of those days where I need a dozen pair of hands, vet appt with Bonny (recheck) at 9am, new arrival coming just after 10, still got to scrub out and move beds from former feral quarters in order to be able to complete massive move  around to fit in pregnant girl, had 3 calls last night from finder who was worried she may have been in labour, I will reserve judgement until cat arrives.
I have my 3 favourite little ones in the world from 3 today ( these are of the human kind) so everything must be left orderley for Rob to deal with, guess I will be bathing 6 tinies again tomorrow

Hope all goes well today with fluffs and humans,   will be thinking of you xx

Hmm just picking out what tena's to send ya so you can use them with the wipes!  ;)  :evillaugh:

The mess was just too bad, I have spent almost 2 hours bathing the little monkeys and what did one do the minute my back was turned- swim in the food, needless to say all food now removed from pen, in future meals will be strictly served and I will need nice bibs  On the plus side 3 beautiful poops

Rob still busy with wood, wire etc so guess it will be late by the time we are ready for pregnant girl.

Hope the arrival is happy and healthy and everything goes smoothly.

You and Rob remind me of the A Team...."It's OK. Just grab those toilet rolls and a can and we have an instant rocket launcher...." ;)

I knew it reminded me of something.....     Seriously though Teresa, hope all is well for the safe delivery of your Grandson tomorrow

Its a wonder you cant hear Rob ;laughing from here  been to BQ and bought wood, hinges, staples etc so now he can go to work, lady with single pregnant stray has been on phone and I have promised her space by tonight, she says cat is making allsorts of strange noises, think early labour.
Given up on the idea of bathing Bonnys kittens again, baby wipes can take a hammering.
