I bet the vet nurse had a great time writing those names on the vaccination cards  :evillaugh:

Julie took me to vets today along with Baby Bea,Scallywag,Nauticalbutnice, Blackbeard and Sinbad, they have all had first vaccinations. Poor Baby Bea was terrified but soon calmed down once we returned home and Julie put her back in her Pen. Julie spent the rest of the day providing playtime and cuddles for all the inmates while I did a very important job, I kept the settee warm

That's brilliant about Fontaine - I wonder when it will be her mum's turn.

Me too October is getting worryingly close

The good news is that Fontaine has been reserved, she will leave us next Saturday to go and live with Binny and Baggy, remember those little loves found in dustbin along with Lil Scruffs Bumpty.
Kittens are all doing well now and Grotbag has started to wash herself more, she has been told she keeps that name until she cleans up her act
Seafarers are totally mad and wear you out in no time but very lovable esp little Scallywag.
Baby Bea is a real lady now and her fur is really thickening up and getting longer by the day, hopefully we will be taking her and the 4 seafarers to vet for fist vaccs this week.
They are all missing Aunty Carol and send    Also   to Aunty Suepoo and baby Mac

What lovely pics of the new arrivals! Is there some boating connection to the seafarers?

Also been meaning to ask what happened to timid little Heidi whom I met at the Inn when I helped out earlier in the year (think it was when Debbie, Claire and I did the Pets at Home thing)? I'm assuming she was re-homed?

Seafarers connection is a joke for Carol Wendolene who helps us out when she is not doing nautical things, our way of letting her know we miss her.

Heidi got the most brilliant home and is now a confident girl with her very own cat friend.

Oh wow - what fabby pics to start the day!!!  Thank you Aunty T  :wow:

Loving the names, although not so sure either about Fleabag and Grotbag   :evillaugh:    I don't think "Kim" and Aggie" would work either.  ;)  How about Odette and Cecille?  Am sure they will grow up to be very clean and tidy and always to polish their shoes and slick their hair down neatly.   :Luv:

Speaking of kittens, Akamaru still acts like one:

Oh yes please - more pics, but make it quick while I'm still in a good connection area and can see them.  :evillaugh:

Glad Baby Bea is progressing and those two girlies look as though they could be her sisters though I know they're not.  :(

The litter of 4 are all good lookers too but then I love blacks and black and whites.  :Luv2:

I hope you have now been forgiven for taking them in.

Haven't heard much about Daisy and Buddy recently - have they been homed?  Is Madame Chelsea behaving herself now?

Was feeling really pleased that the kittens had all delighted their uncle Rob this morning by behaving like mad maniacs  the group of 4 had totally trashed their Pen; the 2 little girls have already mastered the art of climbing their scratching post and looking adoringly at Rob. Something new this morning was a ding, ding, ding, Baby Bea bless her  lay on her back gently batting the toy on her scratching post, a great fete considering she was terrified of the post last week, so all things considered progress has been made. Going to wash the 2 filthy little girls tomorrow when Debbie comes to help, may try for more pics too.

I sat down to rest and decided to watch the Purrs save a life video 3 for the second time, can thoroughly recommend it to anyone who hasnt seen it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAszxwPEv2E    just have tissues to hand; huge thankyou to our wonderful Helen   Anyway I thought I wouldnt cry second time but I spotted Christopher and the floodgates opened, tears of joy because Francis gave him and James such a wonderful home.
Isnt life wonderful.

Rob just been peeping through the window unknown to all the kittens, they are running about playing like little maniacs in their pens, no wonder they were asleep all afternoon . Even Baby Bea is leaping about in her Pen, good job we moved Chelsea she would have been growling and telling them all be quiet and get to sleep

I purposely avoided "telling you off." Rescue is your calling and you can no more close the doors when you know  there are little ones that need help than you can go without food, I think. (Although with everything you have to do I bet  that gets put on the back burner sometimes.... ;)) But please make sure you take care of you, as well!

The little ones are adorable. :)

I am not going to answer the phone today, I feel like public enemy number one for helping a few little kittens; ok Chelsea had grown rather attached to her small Pen but the madam can just get used to her luxury one with outside run , the 4 big kittens have been sick and made a mess and it took Rob an extra hour to do mucking out , the 2 little girlie kittens seem fine and BabyBea is being groomed for miss world
So many names to come up with but I need to get my happy head on first.
