Good that she is eating some wet - maybe she was a bit dehydrated?

I try to get Kylie eating it but she isn't that interested. When I first got her, she used to have a bowl of Iams (I know  :tired: )  down and I used to get her a pouch of kit-e-cat from the corner shop each night and she used to lick the bowl clean. After a while, she refused point blank to eat any wet and had never eaten any kind of meat. She often has fish though.

:evillaugh: yes maybe the vet might think you're a bit mad, but I guess it is a change in behaviour lol!

I'd say don't knock it, maybe she just fancied something a bit different, like when you're a kid and hate something then decide its quite nice when you grow up  :evillaugh:

I'm so exicted Clare I can't tell you - oh was still in bed as he has a day off and I went and woke him up!!!  then I started to panic and wondered if she should go to the vet!!!!  but wondered what the vet would think of me taking her in because she had eaten whiskas!!!!!!!!   (yes I am a bit mad!)

Aren't cats funny  :Luv: :)

My friends cat Frank would never touch wet food, and he needs it too as he suffers cystitis and kidney issues, but nope, he would never even try it.  Fast forward a few years and she now has a feral family she's relocated and looks after, she was plating up their wet food on the kitchen counter, Frank comes over and starts munching it  :-:

They keep us on our toes, don't they

she has been with me for 3 1/2 years and has never eaten anything but dry food not even fresh meat or fish and today I fed her her usual royal canin and she walked away but was following me crying she circled the other three plates (the other eat away from her - historical issues with Amber) but didn't do anything and then just followed me around crying again anyway after about an hour of this i put down a bowl of whiskas in her place and she started eating!!!  she ate about 2/3 of it in one go, I really hope this becomes a regular thing its always bothered me that she didn't eat wet food
