My two have a strange relationship with Smidgen being rather closer to the dog than to Esther. But lately Esther has been working on that and has been bringing Smidgen the mice she catches and letting him take them off her and eat them
(usually while i am having my lunch
). The closeness of the bond they are working on is shown in this picture I just took (excuse the mess, I have to leave stuff on the bed to stop it getting wet when it rains ...). They do say that when someone mimics your actions they are showing affection. I guess it works with cats too ...
