brekkie time is usually preceded by them knocking things off every shelf in the bedroom until I get up - this can start from 5:00am onwards depending how light it is/tired they are :tired:

This is Dave's routine. In the evening he just pesters me incessantly for attention, purring continuously while trying to shove his soggy nose in my fave. Likewise this happens about 1-2 hours before feeding time.

Chilli never really bothers but if she is feeling particularly hungry she follows me to the kitchen and sits by the food cupboard, she's already leanred which one is theirs in the new kitchen!

I do think they can both get slightly panicked if I'm in bed and haven't yet put their supper out but they aren't always hungry, even Dave has been known to forget about his supper :evillaugh:

If anyone wakes me for food its Franta!

Other than that I am left alone in peace but there are always biscuits around and am sure that if Misa is hungry he sneaks up and eats the birmans....................sigh

I put a day's worth of food down just before going to bed, and I can honestly say I am never woken up by any of my three, even if I sleep on until noon

which has, I'm ashamed to say, been known :-[

In the evening, they start sitting on the coffee table giving OH the hard stare from about 5:00pm onwards (they get fed at 6:30!) :evillaugh:

but agree, they seem to have a v finely attuned inner clock!

Luckily I don't get bothered in the mornings as I use an automatic feeder but come dinner time the familiar sounds of the low moany wail from Lukey and the annoying high pitched hungry squeaking from Riley lets me know it's 7pm  :innocent:

Have to say I don't exactly suffer this problem. In the mornings he wakes up after me, then races to the bathroom, then downstairs. In the evenings he's usually sleeping at 7:30pm. He tends to come charging when he hears Mollys food going into her bowl (I do hers after getting his ready - that always involves the slamming of fridge and drawer).

His clock is set for bedime biccies. So around 10:15pm he starts hanging around me like a bad smell. He just sits and stares ... Not a peep out of him, just sat quietly staring. Then after I put them in his bowl I go and sort Mig out, brush my teeth etc. The whole time he's meowing and purring his little head off. Then at 10:30 he gets them ... And at 10:30:30 he wants more  :tired:

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low
