Hahaa, yeh the furminator gets loads out of him!!

Ohh never known him to be grumpy here unless with the dogs  :evillaugh: I bet he is trying to state his place..

Looking forward to pictures, Missed my cuddles and grooming with him last night..

Well....he was a bit more grumpy this morning than he was last night.  He's hissing and taking swipes at the other 3 but they seem to be taking it in their stride.  He had the run of the lounge overnight whilst the others were in the rest of the house.  He hasn't eat yet though....not even freshly cooked chicken!  He  has used the tray successfully...yeehah!  I gave him a grooming this morning (took the morning off work) - Blimey!  The amount of hair that came off!  Loving the furminator!  He seemed to really enjoy it too.

Found the camera - now just got to find the lead!  Got a nice one of him looking at himself in the mirror....

Safely home!  He's totally unphased by my 3 and they're just following him around as he explores.  He's curled up asleep behind the tv at the mo.  He has the most beautiful huge amber eyes - more than makes up for the lack of ears!  lol

Off to find my camera ....

~x~

Aww, ive got a cheshire grin on my face and getting jaw ache lol. Bless he is such a sweety. Looking forward to the pictures :)

Hellooo  :welcome:

I love having picture updates on the cats and animals we rehome  :thanks:

Look forward to seeing you tomorrow when you come for your new boy. Awww I am so happy he is going to such  alovely new home, I sure will miss him. He has been a joy to have in rescue (even if my dogs don't think so) It is such a shame he doesnt like dogs as usualy the cats live with full run of the house whilst in with me, if not we find a foster home, but for some reason this boy was hard to find one for, goodness knows why!?

You will have so much love from him and he is always purring  :Luv2:

Home check in basingstoke is tomorrow :D

awwww he's gorgous. I would love to take him as a foster but we have 2 dogs althou cat freindly.
I would be more than happy to have a home check for future cats/kittens needing short term foster care.
Good lucjk in finding him a home.  :Luv2:

Ohh that sounds great, we are desperate for fosterers, lack of means we have to have a waiting list and sometimes thats to long for emg places needed, even when I prioritise them. Can you pm your details and we can arrange a home check :)

Pm sent.  ;D

I am so pleased ( but VERY jealous ) that it looks as if he may have found a good home.....with other cats that he will blend in with rather than being the giant of the gang!
I will be watching eagerly for updates......

I agree :) He trys to play me with My Joss and did Skye a little before she left for Karens and I think they thought he was just a bit too big and feel a little intimidated, then my joss is used to it anyway as she takes the dogs on to play with, she runs in and jumps on them to wrestle  :evillaugh:

I have sent you a message CJTiger :)

I've just had a read through properly and wanted to say that I'd be happy to be a backup foster placement for this boy, pending testing clear of nasties (my bungalow isn't big enough for it to be safe risking it) if CJ can't take him straight away. I am not offering a long term home, I honestly don't have space, but I feel so sorry that he's in this permanent state of fear from the dogs - I can at least give him refuge from that while he waits for his forever people to find him.

He is kept away from my dogs so not in permanant fear, it just means he has to be shut away in the day upstairs. Then at evening and through the night I take the dogs upstairs and he has downstairs. Not ideal for him swapping and changing and being shut away bless him.

Hello,
We can take him to join our other family members but I am not able to get to Nottingham, thats a problem. We are on the coast in North Yorkshire.

I havent a clue how these situations work...do I need to arrange transport or something?

He is like two of mine. Very very very fluffy. They are both black, one is a very big cat, maybe crossed with a coone in the past somewhere down the line but obviously, not pedigrees. He looks the spitting image of our Duffy.

Anyway...let me know what happens.

Thanks!

Anyone?

This boy is an absolute stunner and so effectionate! he is good with kids. has hissed at the female cats here but if they hiss back he shuts up. Not been tested around male cats as non in here but the finders said he gets on better with them, though like said I havent been able to test him around non yet.

He is a gem to groom and it doesnt bother him at all, all matts now out and shaved off underneath, one small sore and red skin but nothing bad. he will follow you every where and does this neat trick with me by standing on his back legs and holding you hand with his front paws and walks with you, just like a child holding a adults hand to walk safely  :Luv2:

He is still scared of my dogs so I have to crate him most the day, but evenings and night he has the downstairs when my dogs go up to bed. Very playful aswell :)

Enjoying a belly rub after being dematted  :Luv2:

If no better offers turn up, pending all the official stuff being sorted out, I will try to help with transport - halfway, at least. If it's more useful I'd be hapy to put a little bit of money in the pot to cover transport costs for someone else who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to help. He's lovely - I want to hug him!
