We got a call from one of our regular vets yesterday... it's a long story but basically the R*PCA had told them we'd agreed to take in this 'kitten'. News to us!
Anyway, as we were told it was a kitten, I offered to take him in as he's already been shut in a pen pen for two weeks.
I can do kittens!
Adult cats never get on well here due to having to be shut in our bathroom. They always want more freedom than I can give them and it makes me feel so mean nasty having to shut the door on them.
Kittens on the other hand have never known anything different and adapt well to Hotel Pinkbear's bathroom/kitten nursery.
When I got to the vet I was expecting a small, scared youngster... I got presented with Tarzan.
He's at least 18 months old, maybe even 2 years. He's not objecting too much to being shut in yet but my Tilly is camped outside the bathroom door howling and hissing through the gap underneath as she know's there another adult cat in there.
