I got some Felix Supermeat pouches the other week too and mine liked them - must remember to get them again.
Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

I tried Felix Supermeat pouches this week, and they seem to be going down well, although not a true supermeat as there are chunks in, that I have to slightly squash. They are on offer in PAH at 2 for £5.
Please spay your cat

The PAH near me has really poor selection of food for cats. Not sure why. There dog section is massive which really annoys me

Tyler is only eating Natures Menu which is quite expensive to. I sure she will go off it soon anyway as she usually does with food after a while

Think i going to try her again on whiskas or felix. Is there much difference with feeding high content meat food to felix or whiskas. she also gets dry food to.

I get so confused with food and what best for reasonable money

Glad they eating ok again.

I have changed their eating dishes to pottery ones cos thought the melamine ones were possibly retaiting the smell and they are now begrudgedly eating sheba again but sadly the boxes have two flavours with luttle bits and two wuith bigger and they prefer the two with little bits.

I am going to be trying whiskers again cos sheba is £5 a box

They did not like whiskers and sorta ate the ummm one of the ones in little trays but I didnt like what I saw in there and can only get two flavours in singles and in the box has  3 beef and they wont eat beef food......steak! whats steak lol

I think my PAH doesnt have mich choice and suspect your shops are bigger than ours.

The Pets at Home Purely in the 160g tins are all fish in jelly and big chunks of fish at that, ditto the Feline Fayre. They do have meat flavours of Purely in pouches which are more expensive so we haven't tried them. Noah also liked Tesco Luxury pouches which is complete and looks a lot like potted meat, rather than pate IYSWIM.
:'( My beautiful Noah rescued 13/02/09, adopted 11/10/09, taken 11/02/11 :'( You deserved so much more.

Well last night left a tin of Gourmet turkey pate for them and they didnt want it!

Put out whiskers this morninhg and bloomin franta licked off the jelly and big cats havent got up yet cos were up all night!

Mary what is in these PAH ones, is it chunks in jelly or what,

The gourmet ones that Misa likes are not the ordinary 37p a tin ones but the most expensive ones that cost more than that! I just cant afford it and have to find something he will eat,,,,,,,,I hated the smell of the sheba pouches so not surprised they dont like them. I am hoping to go to Tescoes tomorrow and there is a PAH on other side of road but I know Misa and Sasa do not like the high meat content stuff and think that Felix have down graded whats in the pouches.

I have no probs with dry food and thats what he is living off moreorless at the moment, Sasa too.

I have never had any probs getting them to eat before, 6.75 kilos and 6 kilos respectively ........sigh

My Maizie loves PAH Purely which is 50% meat and Feline Fayre, also 50% meat / fish (both pouches and tins) I think Feline Fayre is on offer in Asda at the moment.  For dry food Morrisons 'the best' complete is popular, not sure of the meat content but chicken is the first ingredient on the list!!

Gill if you buy the Gourmet tins in a box of 12 they are slightly cheaper and maybe just give them an odd one now and again.  Although they are expensive think about how much food/money you are throwing away  :wow:

My Bonnie loves Gourmet pouches and pate tins and she is spoilt and has them all the time but I keep trying with others.  She didn't like Sheba the other week, but she like PAH own make - box of 12 for about £2.45.

We fuss more about what they are going to have for tea than ourselves.

What about Whiskas or felix tin food seems slightly different. trying to think of all the different foods.

One food Tyler liked for about 8 months and I was supprised at was Aldi's cat food in foil trays

Ollie will eat absolutely anythinh he has never turned his nose up at anything, Tyler on the other hand being a very fussy girl will now only eat Natures Menu pouches, she seems to wait til you buy something in bulk then refuses point blank to eat it.

Natures Menu pouches so far she has not turned her nose up at.

Amber hates any pate food. She didnt eat one of the felix ones last week but has decided she likes the senior felix much better than the others and likes whiskers tuna which is good as Ive just been given a big bagful from someone whos cat will eat all flavours except that one  :evillaugh:
I hope you find one they like and eat

Bozita has a high meat content and is complete; if you prefer fishy then Feline Fayre pouches from Asda (complementary) or Pets at Home Purely (complete) in the 160g tins are also popular here. All around £2.80 per kilo which is pretty reasonable.  :wow:

The only thing which works with mine is buying different types and giving them lots of variation usually they will eat them all then - ferals including.  Main ones mine like are whisksd supermeat, felix in jelly pouches, Hi-Life Pouches, various supermarket special ones in tins, Natures Best pouches and Gourmet and Hi-Life pates, there will be others but can't think off-hand.

eta: Classic - forgot than one

the only suggestion I can make is to go into Tesco's and buy as many of the reasonably priced single portion tins and pouches, and keep a written record of what is and isn't eaten

I did this, and now only buy Tesco's chicken in gravy pouches, Hi-Life Tuna Imperial and Gourmet Gold Ocean Fish and Salmon pates

now I only have to throw out the odd uneaten lump

oddly enough my Oscar (previously a felix devotee) has decided he loves whiskas - I've never used it  before but just thought I'd try Amber on it as it was about the only thing I'd never tried and he started nicking it!  You may have already tried it but if not it might be worth a go

Both will not eat Felix any more and the food I thought they liked as a replacement is not being eaten either,,,,,,,,,,,sheba essence, I think its called.

I had some from last year which was in a gold box and they devoured it and it was a new product them. Its no longer in a gold box and they will no longer eat it!

They love the birmans food but at over £8 for 4 days I cant  affoed that,

they are jelly lickng off felix and sheba now and really could do with some ideas of what to try with them next please
