Had a chat with our VN at work yesterday and she thinks it was anal glands too

Don't think they are infected as his not bum shuffling or licking the area more than normal.

Milo is due boosters this month, so I might take him tonight, he'll get an MOT at the same time and I'll mention it.

could be quite possible, my old cat Chester R.I.P was a real anal gland squirter. he was often worse if he was picked up and cuddled and his belly got pressed. its not a nice smell

Milo seems to be okay, I don't know if it was an accident now?
The only thing we could think was I caught him licking my dinner plate when we'd had pork!!

It really was awful

Anal gland fluid will sometimes be passed out in the spraying process - so, could be both!

I don't know if he has sprayed or not.

We're sitting on the sofa and Milo jumped onto Hubby's lap, who said ugh what is that smell, I turned to look at him and as I did saw something up the wall, I initially thought Hubby had opened his fruit and it had sprayed up the wall. But it was dark in colour, the smell was awful (like an upset tummy litter tray) it made me gag. We've washed the wall, and Milo is a bit sheepish at the moment.

Milo keeps going to the spot and smelling it, and Jess is doing the same.

Would it be his anal glads or has he sprayed?
