If he doesnt eat any supper then i dont think they will kick in  metacam acts quickly even orally not sure about the other as havnt used it before but im sure its normal use in dogs would require a prompt reaction.
Hate seeing them poorly

If he has a throat infection he may just feel poorly on himself so may take a little while, I hate to see them poorly too

Poor Simon  do hope that the meds start to kick in soon

He picked at his food yesterday so i expected to meet a hairball or scavenged treat, this morning he didnt get up til i clinked dishes but didnt eat anything. Off to vet where nothing can be easily spotted, hes abit lip licky and swallowing so vet wondered if he has a sore throat. Hes had a couple of jabs, one for nausea and one anti inflamatory, i would expect these to have kicked in by tea but he didnt want anything 
Theres no sickness or diarrhoea so am confused as to whats brewing
