yes i am lucky to have them! they have cost me a lot at the vets since i got them (oh doesnt know how much!) but they are so lovely, we both love them to bits! they are so happy and content which is what they deserve after how they had been treated. thats all that matters in the end that they are happy and healthy. they are so loving, always wanting a fuss, its almost like they are really grateful for their new lives.

hi all. poppy and daisy had their second jabs today and baby daisy had her stitches out. they were both microchipped as well. they were very brave and didnt make a sound, it was me who had to keep looking away! they are so happy and settled now. we have a cat pen on the back of our house and daisy has been allowed out through the cat flap today into it. she had a whale of a time sitting on the shelves in there and doing her claws on the tree branches! she goes in and out of the flap now, i only had to show her once! they both have brand new pink collars on and look a picture. i am so glad lisa bought them here. we really love them  :Luv2:

this is so lovely to hear, Bramble - but you should know by now that words alone are never enough for us lot ;)

i am going to get them both chipped soon. will get it done at the local rescue as. my other cats have been chipped there, i know them well and they charge half as much as the vet! today seems a long day already with poor daisy at vet being spayed. cant wait till i know she is ok and can come home. she looked so scared in the cat carrier this morning when i left her there :(

Will you be getting Daisy chipped at the same time as her spay?  Once she's chipped and registered to you ... she's yours  ;)

That's great news and look forward to some pics  :Luv2:.   Sounds like your hubby didn't need too much convincing either.  I'm sure Daisy will be fine on Friday but I know it's a worry.   It's awful (but fortunate in their case) that the previous 'owners' aren't bothered about them whereas there are other poor people searching relentlessly for their beloved furbabes.   These two girls have definitely landed on their paws.

Ahhh Bramble I'm so pleased they have found their forever home.  I know waht youmean about being useless at fostering ... the exact reason why I can't do it.

I'm sure the spaying will be fine   Can't wait to see more pics of the happy little girls  :Luv2: :Luv2:

i just couldnt stand the thought of leaving them at a rescue and driving away. it would have broken my heart. after all they had been through i just couldnt do it. they are happy here and thats all that matters. my hubby loves them too, he sometimes has a little moan about how much they are costing what with jabs, blood tests and spaying! he wouldnt be a man if he didnt moan would he?! they cant help it!

apparently their last "owners" havent even missed them or wondered where they are, what trash. so glad lisa cared enough to help them. no animal deserves to be treated like they were.

was supposed to be taking them to a rescue! they are settling in well and are happy here, so yes they are joining our other 4 rescue cats! i loved them as soon as i saw them and wanted to keep them straight away. i am utterly useless at fostering! over the years i have fostered 3 dogs and 1 other cat and ended up adopting them all, hopeless!! i just had to wait a while for my hubby to come around to the idea of poppy and daisy staying,  but i think he knew it was inevitable! good job he ia almost as soft as i am.

hi, just to let everyone know that mummy poppy and baby daisy are doing really well. they are so loving, always ready for a fuss and a play! we love them to pieces! they were very scared of our cat freindly dogs at first but arent bothred  now. daisy struts around the house like she owns the place, she is so funny! tried to post this yesterday but poppy was sitting on computer desk having a fuss and kept pressing different keys so i had to give up! little daisy is being spayed on friday, i will be a wreck until she is ok and back home. they have their second jabs next week.
