You will have more chance of rehoming a puss cat like Bella through a rescue..Is there no CP branch locally who can help.. Such cases they may get the main adoption centrte involved in... Its not ideal going to a rescue but staying at the vets much longer isnt going to help either. Ideally a branch with an indoor fosterer.. Not impossible you jsut need to get through to the right people..
Cannot save the world, but if everyone does something we can have a jolly good job trying too....

poor girl

has anyone approached the retirement home to see if there is any chance of reuniting her with her previous owner? some homes are taking a more liberal attitude to pets these days, especially quiet older ones

she could probably live as an indoor cat after spending time at the vet, even if she wasn't indoor only before

Yes, Jack Spratt - Tabby and White    correct!        I just hope something will turn up, I have put her on Catchat.   She is on the Home page today and also on Top Cat page.

Wish I could put a picture on here but I don't have the knowledge to do that. Hence the ref to www.

Blimey, poor girl did look a bit large. (She looks more like a tabby and white to me.... :shy:)

Hope you find somewhere soon, she must be so confused.

Special Home Needed For Bella (Uknown Outcome)

Hello, can anyone help us to find a home for Bella please.   She is about 8 years old, torty and white, spayed and has lived all her life with an elderly lady who has now had to go into a retirement home.

The stress of this has made Bella ill and because she is a carrier of cat-flu, she is having to stay at the vets in Wilmslow, Cheshire.  She has been in there since before Christmas and now is so depressed that she will hardly eat anything.

We need a quiet home with no children or other pets.  She can be timid at first but very affectionate when she knows you.  Was substantially overweight due to being spoilt by her owner, but has now lost too much, too quickly.  The vet is seriously concerned for her welfare.

Picture of Bella on our website      www.animalsupportvolunteers.com                      Thank you,     Woodsider
