What a lovely poem, it always surprises me when i read that black cats are unpopular and get over looked. Dont tell anyone but ive always preferred them to tabbys

Why not a Black One?

"Oh, see that pretty one fluffy and sweet,
Little white legs and four tiny grey feet"
Please look at the dark shape alone at the back,
I'm cuddly, I'm pretty, but I'm also BLACK.

"Come see the tabbies with markings so fine,
Look at that ginger one, Oh let it me mine"
We are the dark shapes - there at the back,
We're cute and adorable but, sadly, we're BLACK

If you want a pet that will love you to bits,
Come, take a look a these little BLACK kits.
Our eyes will shine just as bright as those others,
Just give us a cuddle - me, and my brothers!

Look into my eyes, what do you see?
A beautiful kitten, so playful - that's me.
You've seen all the pretty ones - now choose from the back,
Say "Look at that treasure, it's mine - and it's BLACK"

I'd have another black cat in a blink, they are just stunningly beautiful, and I've never seen such a shiny coat as we had on Max when he was healthy and vibrant

Can anyone remember ages and ages ago I posted a poem all about a little black cat ... I think one of the lines was ... I'm the black one at the back.

Basically it was written by the black cat that was always being overlooked and it was reminding people that blacks are lovely as well.

If anyone can find it I'd be really grateful
