I didn't know that - I always keep a bottle of canocular in the house as Willow needed her eyes done a few times a day.
Well I think for anything else, Mark, a bit of salt can be a good idea. Especially for irrigating an abcess. Salt does have a mildly anticeptic effect... but judging amounts to use when mixing a solution is hard if you're not an expert and with something as sensitive as an eye I just avoid salt altogether.

can clear up on their own, and can also flare up again for no good reason. It depends on the root cause... sometimes puss can be carrying a virus which periodically flares up. So keep an eye on the situation.... get it?? Eye on it???
