Oh, after reading about Wilfred, it makes me so much more keen to rehome another puss! We lost our last 18 year old puss a year ago and our other oldie 2 years prior to that and hubby said NO MORE as he can't cope with the upset and being too attached etc.
We've now been without our puss for nearly a year and it's rotten - no wailing to wake us up the mornings at 5am, no scratched carpets or side of chairs, no litter strewn all over the house, no 'presents' left for us to admire, no hair on the furniture/beds/or on black clothes, no kneading on laps, no puss contained inside the duvet cover when making the bed (funny how they like to go there at that time) I'd go back to all this IN A MINUTE if we could JUST have another feline friend. It's just trying to persuade hubby to agree .... (any tips welcome)!
If, in a few months I can persuade hubby to change his mind, I will certainly be contacting Mad Kitty Rescue (we're not too far away) to see if we could possibly rehome a feline friend, they sound SO DEDICATED to the work that they do!
Good luck with Wilfred, he's just AMAZING!
