I would be wary of putting the antifreeze part on poster, some clever  :censored: may join in!!!  >:( :(

I was just about to post something similar - I wouldn't even say poisoned TBH. I would say MURDERED!  >:(

True, thats a good point hun as there is some sick people about! Maybe just a poster saying cats have been Poisened? The vets Our making all clients that go in there aware & i have contacted the other vets in town & told them so they can pass it on. I just feel like now i know i want to try & stop other people from loosing their pets x

I was just going to do a general poster saying some cats had been Poisened with anti- freeze nothing saying about it being deliberate or anything just thought it would make people aware & maybe keep there cats indoors to save anymore losses x

Hmm, Yes I did. My fingers moved on the keyboard faster than my brain and just assumed the letter most likely to follow CA was T. Bad! Bad stupid fingers!

Lastly, this time of year many people flush the old antifreeze out of their cat to winterize them (at least in the USA they do). If you know anyone who is going to do this, urge them to try to locate an antifreeze with an added bittering agent. There are a few companies that make antifreeze with this added. It will prevent animals from wanting to lap a spill up.

I think if you just do a general poster not saying it's a deliberate act or accusing anyone (you don't have anyone to accuse at this point anyway) then I think it would be a great idea just to draw the attention of people with pets in the area.

Just awful, this is one of the times I am really pleased my cats are currently indoor ones.

Could i get in trouble if i put posters Up saying that some cats have been Poisened?
I would love to tell you, but I am in the USA and the laws here likely greatly differ from the ones there. Perhaps someone else reading the thread can say?

That is awful. I will never understand the mentality to many people and their ability to indiscriminately torture and kill animals and people. :(

There is a database on the internet where they try to track animal abuses in manu countries. The UK is one. I think it would be great is you could enter this case there in hopes people learn more about it and perhaps have some information that can help in leading to the culprits. If you want to enter it just go to http://www.pet-abuse.com/ and then on the upper right select "Animal Abuse Database". On the next page change the country to the UK and just follow the info on the page.

Lastly, this time of year many people flush the old antifreeze out of their cat to winterize them (at least in the USA they do). Not sure if ive posted this in right section and im sorry if i havent  :-[

I saw my vet today and she informed me that in the last 4 weeks they have had 5 cats in all from the same road that have all been poisened with anti-freeze!  >:(  >:(

The rspca have been informed but she couldnt tell me anymore than this.

Me and my mum both live close to this area but my cats don't  go out but mums do so they are all now shut in completly other than charlie who is 20 and wont use a litter tray so he is still going out but only in the garden.

I dont think there is anybody on here from my area but thought i would make you all aware as there may be guests viewing this forum who are from my area.

This happened 2 years ago and my mum lost 2 cats then  >:( >:(

Makes me soo angry how people can be so  :censored: cruel!
