Hey - hissing's normal, but Katie's soiling returning isn't lol!

Katie's an ex soiling cat and so shouldn't really be mixed with other cats, she tolerated a small kitten we once fosterered but hated the 2 adults we fosterered so it's not really an option any more!
I don't think she had any pedigree in her, she was just an exceptionally pretty dilute!

She is gorgous and bet she wont be waiting long - what breed was she supposed to have had in her? Shame Katie wouldnt tolerate her, have you ever fostered adults?
Please spay your cat

Just a quick update - we got Bette a place in a rescue as Katie was really upset and cried all day and night and hid in the cupboard (even though we kept the kitten in another room!)

Really hope that she finds a home soon  ;)

Hereare pics, bu they're not great as she won' stay still. She escaped and ran into Katie who hissed and Kitten hissed and turned into a HUGE furball and ran away... methinks they won't be best friends!

Any tips for getting them to be friends????!!!!

Aw, she's lovely  :Luv2:

Give them time. Presume you've got the 'new girl' back into her own room for the time being? Get some feliway diffusers plugged in, if you havent already. Take things slowly, they need to get used to each other's scents first before any 'official' intros!

She's what I would call a dilute Torbie

Names, names.... I wanted Tortaliini but Andy says no, she's named Betty on her vax form which I quite like

Tutti Frutti!  ;)

Well she's here!!!! (well at home as i've had to come to work)

She's what I would call a dilute Torbie - so cute and although the people were rough as anything (sorry!) I have her vaccination record and she's been de-fleaed and wormed etc so at least I know i'm not taking on a sickly kit.

So it's back tot he scent swapping etc with Katie and we'll see how she settles and i'll get photos soon! I got a couple but her head was stuck in the food bowl at the time  :Luv2:

She's definately a keeper this time if Katie settles  :Luv2:

Names, names.... I wanted Tortaliini but Andy says no, she's named Betty on her vax form which I quite like

No doubt i'll be asking for help as i've never had a kitten this young before - eeek!

Oh why do I look????!!!! Just arranged to go and pick up a 15 week old kitten from someone who was going to breed her but ther landlord saw her and are making them get ridof her. She's apparently half pedigree, but I very much doubt it  :tired:, alhough she has seen a vet and been health checked (i've got the record through the fax)...

Hopefully she'll settle in our room and Katie won't mind too much (she liked the other kitten we fostered!)  :Luv2:

Tell me I did the right thing???!!! I don't really have the room, but I just couldn't bear her being passed from pillar to post in a not great area of Leeds. She's grey and white with peach specks so don't know whether it's a dilute tortie... i'll have to see  :tired:
