We've had a lot of painting done this week - primarily the new sills, the corresponding window ledges and the masonry around the new windows. I was rather worried about Blip jumping on the bathroom, kitchen and living room window ledges while the paint was wet but she has been good as gold and not gone near them
The only concerns now are the thresholds of the patio doors, which I have carried her over once already this afternoon (like a bride
) but I'm hoping if we can do that once more this evening, by tomorrow Blip's weight won't upset the surface of the paint.
Presumably Blip's scruplulous avoidance of the drying paint is not her super-feline thoughtfulness but rather the strange smell. Still, it's working
