both drawings are excellent!  you are both very talented and I always think it is wonderful when you can capture their likeness so closely!

I'm very sure both are pride of place :)

Mary - smudge is quite like our bridge babe Bluto but he had slightly bigger ears

Gill - that is very good, don't think I've seen it before

He was so easy to love Clare.  I know how you feel cos although nobody met Smudge as he was missing when I joined over 2 years ago - everyone took to him.  Mind you I did go mad with pics  :Luv2:

Tell me more about the play cube.  Miss Tulip does get bored with her toys very quickly and I am constantly looking out for something new for her.

Have a looky at the shop link on here, you get 2 cubes for about £5 I think, and they're very cool  ;D

I would put up the linky, but am only diving on for a quick work break whilst on a looooong phone call yawn  :evillaugh:

Thank you!! :Luv2: :Luv2:

Love,

How is Poot?  Any more pictures, or am I being greedy? :Luv2: :Luv2:

He's absolutely fine thank you hun  :Luv:

I've been trying to get some good piccies, but he's such a cuddlebum these days, he spends most evenings curled up on my lap and not playing with his copious amounts of toys  :evillaugh:

I've got one or two, but want to get a good few more of him with his new play cube, so will try over the next couple of evenings.  Its so hard as its dark by the time I get home, and the flash just doens't get good photos of his eyes

He wants to look his best for his girlfriend Tulip you see  :Luv:

I shouldn't have "favourites" but I have to say, I have a real soft spot for Poot. :Luv: :Luv: - and Tulip thinks he's a real stud muffin!! :Luv2:  :Luv2:

I have just met with a local cat who reminds me of Poot.  He is EXTREMELY long with similar colouring and SO friendly!  He follows me home demanding attention and then sits in the garden gazing up at Tulip and mewing at her through the window!!   It is like a scene from "Romeo & Juliet"!!!!   He is such a long cat that I can quite understand why there are sightings of "Big Cats"!!

Tell me more about the play cube.  Miss Tulip does get bored with her toys very quickly and I am constantly looking out for something new for her.

Big love,
Sparklecat and Tulip

 :thanks:

I was when I saw it, as its captured the essence of my boy so wonderfully, its the eyes more than anything, they are just so true to life  :Luv2:

It was difficult with his eyes because of the flash taking away a lot of detail - so I'm glad you think I've captured those well - so important for the eyes to be right.

that's what I though Helen, photographing our bridge boy Bluto was impossible so I really wondered how a drawing would work but it is brilliant - I should have known, if she can draw Amber she can draw anyone!

That's amazing Clare! Considering all black cats look very similar ie no distinctive marking as they're just one colour, I could tell instantly that was Max  :Luv:
