OK, info and a few pictures of this special little girl....

Pumpkin

A beautiful black and white semi – long haired kitten in desperate need of a new loving home.

Pumpkin has been neutered and suffers from serious hind limb damage, this does not in anyway affect her mobility, she can climb up scratching posts and the sofa and shuffles about the floor as quick as any other cat. She is the most playful kitten I have ever come across and has a fascination with opening and closing doors, which often results in her locking herself in a room – (she lets you know when this has happened). She also has an extremely loud purr which you can hear all over the house.

Pumpkin needs a bit of extra care with her condition as she is unable to use a littler tray, however this has improved due to trial and error and a baking tray with litter on also works, but when she drags herself off she also takes most of the litter with her. Her back legs need bathing everyday, which believe it or not is quite an enjoyable task, she is so well behaved and purrs all the way through it. After she has chased the bubbles down the plug hole she loves nothing more than being wrapped up in a big fluffy towel and curling up on the sofa whilst she dries.

A totally adorable kitten who needs a home where she can play and build her strength up. She loves to play and would be suited to being either an only cat or in a home with other tolerable cats.

I watched something on animal cops other night and it had a little kitty the same as described here, the kitty got a new home and slowly but surely her legs had started to work. She was a happy little soul and it seemed that being able to be in a home had a great improvement on her legs

They first said she may need a walking frame, but when they went back for a follow up- they said they thought she was coping fine without one

I hope there is some hope for Pumpkin

Sorry. The lady that took Pumpkin on already has a cat with Cerebellar hypoplasia (It's mentioned earlier in the thread) who just isn't taking to Pumpkin. (Is that clearer?

Sadly, Pumpkins new home is not working out. The CH took a dislike to her and has started to lose weight and lose fur. The lady that has Pumpkin is prepared to care for her until a more suitable environment is found.

Definitely. Have emailed the lady in question asking her for settling in photos when she gets chance. Will post them if she gets chance to send any.

I've PM'd asiasnow about this. Someone else has offered a potential home; they already have a cat with CH and are looking for another special needs cat to be company. From what I can tell they aren't that far from Nicky (who's been sent contact details) either.
