Please just book her in to be spayed, there are a lot of risks with her age, and it really isn't worth it when there are so many cats in rescue already. Also, females need to be spayed regardless of whether they go out, as there are health risks such as mammary cancer, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer, plus something called pyometra, which is an infection of the womb which can kill if not picked up in time.
Please spay your cat

How long is a cat pregnant for ?

My kittens are now 5 months old and growing well, I was told by the rescue centre they would start to become "fertile" for want of a better word, from about 5 and a half to 6 months, so I have booked the male in to be done first week of April, I am not too worried about the female as she is not going to go out.

I came home from work today and think I may be a little late on the matter as Misty (male) was going at it hammer and tongs as I walked into the lounge  :censored: and my Daughter tells me he was doing it last week as well  :-[.

He is now in for the snip next week, but what about Cloud (female) ?, can I have her spayed if she is pregnant ?, if she is pregnant and I leave the pregnancy to progress, what are the chances of kittens with problems because of the young age of Mum ?.

 :thanks:
