Aww, I am sad to hear her mum needs more time, but I am glad she is in a nice safe home environment, and much loved. I did wonder if it would become a permanent thign!! She is very pretty.
Please spay your cat

JackSpratt - thankfully the pain has now died down a bit and the temperature too!

Did you hallucinate at all? I've got lines on my ceiling that I was convinced were moving!

Dinah is soooo sweet. I'm glad that you got to give one old lady reassurance that HER old lady was going to be well cared for!

Ahhh so pleased that Dinah will be staying with you ... shame it's under such sad circumstances though but, like you say, least her original Mummy can concentrate on getting better and not have the added worry of what will happen to her furbabe.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

JackSpratt - thankfully the pain has now died down a bit and the temperature too!

We'd discussed that Dinah might not be a temporary guest before we took her, but were hoping her Mum would get better and it made us feel less like we were replacing the Proot (as if!). Her Mum cried with relief when her daughter told her we'd taken her in. She has a very aggressive rescue cat so there was no way she could take Dinah. It is sad but at least she can concentrate on getting well.

I think we're destined to be in the right place at the right time for needy black and white oldies  ;D  She has just turned 18 apparently!

She is a lovely girl  :Luv:

Do keep us updated, don't think we've had a pic for quite a while either  :evillaugh:

Ouch, a kidney infection! I've had one of those before. My mum said if I could cope with the amount of pain I looked like I was in, childbirth would be a breeze.(Although, I think she's just trying to win me round to having kids so she can be a grandma! ;))

It's sad for Dinahs original owner, but I have to say she looks a lovely cat and looks really settled in the pictures you've posted. :)

When you took her in I did wonder whether it might become a permanent thing.  Shame for her owner but good for you and Diinah!  And nice for her owner to know she will have a good home.

Best wishes to Dinahs mum.

Proot will be very pleased that you have found another needy senior kitty to spoil rotten  :)

I'm sorry for Dinah's Mum but at least she will know that Dinah has potentially found herself the best home a cat could ask for  :)  Do keep us updated, don't think we've had a pic for quite a while either  :evillaugh:

We've had an update from Dinah's Mum (we were "fostering" Dinah for the mum of one of my husband's colleagues), she's still in hospital and it looks as if she may have to go into a convalescent home as soon as she is out  :(.
It looks as if Dinah may become a perma-cat here!  Just as well she seems to have settled in (and that we like her)   ;).

My Mum has been visiting for a week and I'm off work with a kidney infection  :( so she's been in seventh heaven with all the extra fuss and lap on demand.
