My goodness is it 3 years since we had that mad panic of gathering email addresses and frantically contacting everyone to tell them where we had moved to LOl .... seems just like yesterday  :evillaugh:

In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

  Thanks Liz hun.

It warms the cockels of me hart to see people and cats being helped by this little thought in my hubbies head back in Nov 2006.  ;D  I still remember him saying.. "well i can set you a forum up" on that awful night when Catchat closed it's doors.
I never never believed Purrs would be so strong  ;D and help and support cats and slaves as it has done and continues to do.  :Luv:

I realised there wasn't anywhere on here that says why Purrs is here  :shy: so thought better pop it in a post.

Tan you saved our lives and made us all bond together to spend money in a good cause

You also took over our lives wether it was cats or folks Purrs is now most folks second home and in the time we have been active we have helped so many, loved and lost some along the way but always had the cyber support of Purrs

Thanks you tan and Chappie and of course Gill from the bottom of the Clans hearts ;D

In 2006 on the old Cat Chat forum, a group of us cat lovers started fundraising for small cat rescues on Catchat, just doing a little to help their financial costs with cat rescue. In November 2006, as you most of you know,  the Cat Chat forum took a break and Purrs in our Hearts forum was born to host the 2006 auction fundraiser.
Lol, Purrs was only meant to be a temp site until Catchat's forum came back but Purrs has grown and grown since then and so has our fundraising.  :wow: ;D  We now work with our very good friends at Catchat to help spread the word of needy cats all over the UK.

Purrs In Our Hearts (Purrs) – Our main goal is to raise much needed funds to support cat rescue centres all over the UK, To give cat welfare advice, help, Care Guides and information for the cat and the owner. To support and be a friendly online community place to be for all cat lovers.

Membership is free and all cat lovers are very welcome.  ;D
