We have taken in 18 cats so far - but one of these is now another 5!  So that brings incoming total to 23, 8 have already been rehomed, 7 are on our rehoming list and the rest are not yet ready to be rehomed.  We have fosterers for the young and pregnant ones and 4 cat pens that we rent from a local cattery and run on a volunteer rota.

We have plenty of enthusiam and willing bodies - but (as I'm sure everyone knows all too well) we're struggling for funds.

We're hoping the auction will be a big success - we did the same event for our local CP branch last year and raised £2k+.

We're holding a recruitment event on Saturday afternoon in central Bolton.  If anyone wants to come along to find out more about this - or anything else - please email boltoncatrescue@yahoo.co.uk

How is the rehoming going?

Are all your cats in pens or do you use fosteres too?

We are a brand new charity in the Bolton area and we provide much needed help for abandoned cats and kittens. Although we only formed in September we have just taken our 23rd cat into care!
We are holding a Celebrity Auction and Prize Raffle on 13th November - funds raised will hopefully go a long way to helping with running costs over the next year.
If you live locally, this really is a fantastic night with some amazing lots on offer and we'd be so grateful for your support. Alternatively, those who live further afield can purchase raffle tickets - star prize a Nintendo Wii.
Full details at http://www.boltoncatrescue.co.uk

Thank you!
