Michelle if they would like them and all their beds, toys ect I would be so happy to break the law (technically) and make sure they are happy.
Its breaking my heart this. Ive know these two since they were tiny babies and I hate the idea of not knowing how they are. I wish I could take them in but I know that Amber wouldnt accept them and it wouldnt be fair on Mogs who is going downhill again and losing weight at the moment (I keep cuddling her and telling I cant cope with anything else at the moment so shed better get well)

Tab -

I have just asked someone from Machester if they are interested in these boys.
They lost their cat a few weeks ago to old age

BUT we cant do anything because as Margaret hasnt left a will theres no one to legally give the cats for re homing
That wouldnt be a problem elsewhere  :innocent: the fact they have no owner they cant be signed over can they, very strange. Its good the branch wont pts but i wouldnt be so sure if they were taken by an inspector.

We've hit a snag or two.
Bascially the rescues Ive spoken to up to now have said no they're full. Some in a nice way others not so nice. The RSPCA have been the most useful which has amazed me
BUT we cant do anything because as Margaret hasnt left a will theres no one to legally give the cats for re homing. The RSPCA have given me a number where I can get an inspector to visit and they can legally take the cats under the pets alone scheme because theres no one at home and it classes as neglect. Ive got to phone tomorrow and see if what Ive been told actually happens (you can tell I have faith in them cant you  :evillaugh: )
If it does happen our local RSPCA have said that they wont be put to sleep at the age of 9 or 10 and as brothers they will be re-homed together so fingers crossed we can work something out

Hope they find a loving home soon

2 cats needing homes - Manchester (HOMED)
« Reply #1 on: October 28, 2009, 19:17:14 PM »
Hi my friend Margaret died today and I need to re-home her 2 cats. They are male, approx 9 yrs old fully vacc'd and neutered.
Shes had them since they were tiny babies as they were hand reared after their mum was stolen from the rescue.
As Margaret has a council flat I need to find homes really quickly. I did get her to join the cinnamon trust but apparantly when I wasnt their she phoned and told them she didnt need their help so they wont take them  >:(
They are currently being fed by neighbours and Im going in doing trays
Any help you can give would be great
Thank you
love
