OK....you aren't going to believe this. But Mog and Darwin are both sat on the heated pet bed behind me.  I'd take a photo but I'm terrified of moving in case Mog gets riled!

EDIT: Oh, Mog got hungry and moved. Darwin followed her but that was just a tad too much for Mog who growled at him to leave her alone!

Ok - update just over two weeks in:

My partner and I were looking for Darwin and Astryd and after checking small hiding places we looked under the bed. Earlier in the evening I'd swapped a fairly large bed for two smaller donut ones. We peered underneath and in one of the beds was Mog.....next to a donut bed containing a sleeping Astryd and a little sidekick. :Luv: Darwin has been trying to snuggle with one of the girls when he gets tired since he got here.

(Sage was in her room asleep in the radiator bed that Darwin had claimed earlier. ;))

Things are a little odd actually. Sage, who is usually quite a nervous girl is actually acting fairly confident with the other cats. She and Astryd were curled up asleep literally about three inches away from each other last night. I took a picture of it, actually because I was so shocked!

Further update - snook upstairs to see where Little Man was and found both he and Mog were asleep on the bed. This is indeed progress and I think he's figuring out not ambushing her all the time might be a good idea.

They've got over hating me. ;) And they never did hate my partner..... who is currently training Astryd daily using the treats and clicking method. (None of the others really seem that interested, but she loves it.)

Glad most of them are getting along fine, Mog will come to terms with Darwin. It just takes time.

Like I said before, Lirael hated me for weeks after adopting Smoke but eventually got over it and came back to mommy.

Quick update. Darwin, Astryd and Sage are currently all chilling out in the smallest room in the house (aside from the kitchen that has nowhere they could relax!) together. Sage is asleep on the back of the futon, Darwin is in the radiator bed (which Sage is usually in....big honour) and Astryd is asleep in the wicker basket next to the radiator.

Mog remains steadfast to her grumpiness and is asleep in here on another futon....

Will try and add more photos of "the ear" soon. ;)

Jasmine, I was pretty furtive about it until I knew my other cats wouldn't freak out about him. It would've really upset me to post and then find out they wouldn't accept him. Thankfully, the only one we're having issue with as I said is Mog - but she takes exception to everything these days. She even growls at me now. :(

Definitely. Although, I think most kittens are naturally confident unless they're given reason not to be, if that makes sense.

I think Darwin just wants to play with everyone.....he's currently looking outside for Cat Across the Road to run up and down the windowsill. He's been playing with Astryd and Sage (a little.....) for about three quarters of an hour beforehand.

Carrie got really cross at him earlier and gave him an old woman swipe when he tried to get her to join in the frivolities. Bloomin' youngsters, trying to make her have fun..... :tired:

Thanks. The Little Man is hopefully going to the vets Monday as his eyes are a little runny and I want to make sure it's nothing serious. (ie: conjunctivitis - eye drops for four cats.....that would be fun!)

My partner has just commented that overall he's a pretty mellow kitten, but he does play with Astryd and they both seem to enjoy it.

He's a funny little fella. He's currently trashing the voile curtain in the front room - one of his favourite games is playing "run up and down the windowsill" with Cat Across the Road on the outside ledge and him on the inside.

He and Astryd had a wrestle earlier which was funny to watch, and even Sage :-: did a bit of  :boxer: with him earlier when he tried to impinge on 'her' play tunnel. :Luv:

Mog on the other hand is still claiming she doesn't like him much......
